Honeysuckle Gelato Lee+White — Restaurant in Atlanta

Stopped by here on Saturday night. The young man behind the counter was engaged in a conversation with friends when we walked up. Once his friends walked away he did not greet us and so I asked if they were still open to which he nodded. I asked if they gave samples to which he nodded and at that point I realized he was sort of chewing on one of the wooden tasting spoons. I glazed over that at the moment, asking for a sample of the butter pecan brittle, which was fantastic, but then immediately observed him still chewing on the spoon and moving it around in his mouth with his hands (not wearing gloves). I hadn’t realized it but this behavior must’ve been going on the whole time as my partner had a look of disgust on her face when I asked if she was going to order anything. I love the flavor variety of this gelato shop. They're fairly new to the Lee+White Food Hall. I'm here on Easter Sunday and was greeted by 2 friendly faces. They allowed me to taste a couple of samples before deciding. They even have a couple of vegan options that I'll try next time. If you're looking for a sweet treat on a sunny day, I recommend this location. It's also right off the Westside beltline. From a customer standpoint, a great product is great, but amazing service is what really makes places stand out. Honeysuckle Gelato at Lee + White has an amazing team. While every place says they're "open to feedback", Honeysuckle actually takes the feedback given and uses it to grow and improve.
