Kroger Bakery — Restaurant in Atlanta

As soon as you walk in you are greeted by the smell of old or rotting meat being pushed by the air conditioning from the back to the front of the store. Initially, I assumed it was shrimp, but quickly realized that the smell, regardless of its source, is just unacceptable. The worse part is everyone is ignoring it probably because they are older folk or have transportation issues that prevent them from going to a nicer place. Produce section is filled with flies and old or moldy fruits and veggies. Not enough lanes open. Seems like the store always has some sort of security or police presence because of theft or other issues. Like most grocery stores in impoverished areas with a majority Black customer base the store is lacking compared to its White counter part over 10 miles away in Sandy Springs.
