OMFG just stop reading and go get a burger!
I seek out excellent burgers and judge restaurants based on how well they do a burger. You would expect a place that specializes in burgers to do a phenomenal job and Mixd Up doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. My wife got their classic burger cooked medium with no cheese, no bun, extra lettuce, add bacon and egg, sub grilled onions …she normally eats half a burger at a time but THIS BURGER she had to devour in one go. I got the Cajun (imagine a surf n turf burger 🤤) cooked medium with lite cheese add bacon…and I inhaled every scrap while savoring every bite! I’m not normally a big fan of hot sauce on my food but it complimented that burger so damn well. Fries are shoe string in size and an order is small so get one for everyone because sharing is not caring, forget what your mom taught you. I also got a half order of the funnel fries, they didn’t come with a sauce but I couldn’t have cared less as they didn’t last long enough for me to get home. Service was top notch for such an unassuming establishment, so much so that I tipped on my order (placed online but did call first to confirm something that I later saw online). That burger will turn your every way but loose so don’t expect to put it down once you pick it up! We found our new go-to...
Read moreI was looking for a new spot to grab a veggie burger in between dog walks and came across Mix’ed Burgers after seeing a positive Google review. Unfortunately, my experience was the exact opposite.
When I arrived—short on time—I was rudely greeted at the door by an employee who seemed disinterested and rushed me to look at the menu posted on the wall, despite there being no other customers in sight. The interaction immediately felt uncomfortable.
I ordered the house-made black bean burger, fries, and what I assumed was fresh strawberry lemonade. I genuinely wish I could say something positive about the food, but this was hands down some of the worst food I’ve ever had: • The burger was burnt on the outside and undercooked on the inside. • The fries were soaked in oil, limp, and inedible. • The lemonade tasted artificial and overly sweet, nothing like fresh.
As someone who doesn’t mind paying $20–$30 for a good meal, I left feeling disappointed, still hungry, and frustrated at the waste of time and money. I had hoped this could be a new go-to between my client visits, but sadly, it’s not a place I’ll return...
Read moreSmall drive thru only. Didn’t see much parking or any walk up ordering or inside eating. Gentrified area beginning. No line around 1pm Thursday. Ordered lamb burger. Order came fast. $15.80 for burger and fries from Atl restaurant is expected so I’m expecting to taste the hype when you're known for burgers. The lamb burger had a homemade taste with decent seasoning and it also had a non-uniform shape like my auntie would do. Good flavor in the burger, but you have to like lamb or the lamb taste may throw you off. Would’ve liked a wider patty that exceeds the bun a bit. My onions were diced but sliced would’ve preferred more pronounced onions. I switched cheese and tzatziki sauce for ketchup and mustard which I’m sure changed the taste but can’t be by that much. It wasn’t anything to rave. The bread was a bit thick & texture didn’t push as tasty. I only ate the top piece. The fries were soft although Cooked and real potatoes, they weren’t close to crunchy. I don’t prefer ketchup packets thrown on top of the fries because you were touching them...
