I was watching a football game last night, and the Pizza Hut Detroit Pizza commercial kept coming on the air. ...So I ordered one at 7:36pm.
Mind you, I live 3 minutes from this location by the river in Cobb County. I ordered online, and the message I received said i would receive the pizza in 90 minutes.
That was a long time, but I was okay with that.
I took many screenshots of Pizza Hut's "Tracker", which is supposed to update me on when they are making my pizza and when they are delivering my pizza.
Updates: 9pm- The tracker shows they are making my pizza 10pm- Tracker shows someone is delivering my pizza. Again, I live less than 5 mins away. 11pm- Crickets. "Tracker" shows they are still delivering my pizza.
BTW, this location closes at 8pm, but they accepted my order at 7:36pm.
There are many problems here, but the main one is the "Tracker." It has to contain a human element behind it. It can't be just an AI-driven (if it is) tool. You have to get human confirmation that something actually happened (made pizza or left for a delivery).
So now I'm out $23+, and I had to call the location twice today (no one called me, of course). I actually got an email from Pizza Hut asking me how my order last night was. Based on the "tracker", they must have thought I actually got my food.
Wrong. I didn't.
There are many failures here, but all I want is my money back. I don't want a Detroit Pizza. I will turn the channel the next time I see...

I stood at the counter in front of an associate and was acknowledged after about 5 minutes because she was on her personal cell. Ordered the edge pizza, and a medium pizza with different ingredients on each half. My edge pizza was cut like a regular pizza instead of in squares like itās advertised. My pepperoni pizza with half green peppers, half banana peppers came out half pepperoni, half cheese. Received no apology, but asked if i wanted it made again, as if I had made the mistake on what i ordered. Waited an additional 15 minutes, still no apology, still paid full price. Left without my drink being given to me and had to turn around. Breadsticks were drenched in garlic sauce, not sure why because i didnāt request it and never had breadsticks from Pizza Hut like that. Lashida showed no remorse or empathy for her lack of customer service. Reprimanded the staff in front of a lobby full of guests. Always something. The delivery driver never want to get out the car. But wants a tip. My husband had stroke and barely walking. I never leave him a alone.we get delivery.
