My adventure took place on 12/15/2017 at 12:30 p.m. I came into the restaurant. There are 8 staff members in the restaurant. 5 of them were dressed up in their uniform and working in the kitchen on this day. The other 3 had street clothes on. I approach the food line. There is a lady in front of me. She was placing several orders at once. I was waiting for almost 10 minutes until I received acknowledgement of my presence / have my order taking. It was not until a gentleman had walked in and came to place an order that another server actually serviced me. Why is it that I couldn't be served before another customer arrived? They all seemed rather busy despite their only being 5 people seated in the restaurant. Despite being busy, they still had time to stare at me with for extended periods of time. Mind you, I had not been greeted at all since I had initially arrived. When a server finally comes to the line, she asked me what I wanted in a hurried manner. She fixes my food and places it on the counter and runs off to service the other gentleman. She does not give me instructions as to what to do next. All she did was yell at me: "THAT'S YOUR FOOD!" I could have walked out of the restaurant with the food and had me a free meal. When I turned around, there was no one at the register. I had to tell lady I was ready to check out. I had to say it twice. This woman was wearing street clothes. After I told her I was ready to check out, she continued to do something with a vat of lemonade. Then she proceeded to walk away from me. About 1 minute later she was ready to check me out. What was the point of all of that?! Why not stop what you are doing and just ring me up for the food so I can leave?!?! She checks me out and gives me my food. I told her about the unpleasant vibe I was receiving from the server and in general from the restaurant, and she just dismisses me by saying: "thank you." She didn't take the time to apologize or ask me why I felt that way or what happened. She just brushed it and me off like a piece of lent. I will not be returning to this establishment. I do not like waiting almost 20 minutes for just one meal, especially since the food has already been prepared. I do not like nasty attitudes. I do not like being disrespected. I didn't feel valued as a customer. It is unfortunate because the food was delicious, aside from the dry corn bread. This behavior was unacceptable. Q-Time work on your customer service!!!

Family focused food served cafeteria style. Whew! My family and I came at the recommendation of one of the officers who directed us there while dropping my son off at Morehouse College. We were not disappointed! The servings and the cost were like WOW!!! THAT'S ALL I gotta pay for ALL THAT FOOD!?!? Man... feeding two teen boys and ourselves, we made out like thieves in the night, but in reality, that's just how reasonable the food was. The customer service was the best part. We' were dropped off by Uber, but they only had carry out due to the dining room being closed, but they let us sit and eat as a family and let us enjoy our experience. I'd always recommend bringing your appetite to Q-Time, because everyday is Sunday dinner at Big mama's house when you eat here. 😋

This is authentic southern soul-food in Atlanta's West End. From the BBQ wings to the heaping serving of Turkey Wings, you can't go wrong and will likely have food left for later. Family-owned; Cafeteria style serving so you can see all the greatness right in front of you. Finding a seat might be difficult as there are only a few booths and parking is limited due to the typical West End like infrastructure, but I'm here to talk about the food. Plenty of flavorful sides and dessert cakes that I can't wait to try. This picture was a smaller portion of the BBQ wings; the turkey wings double this.

It is important to note the following text. I experienced excellent service from the staff members who prepared my meal and handled my payment. However, my experience with the food itself was disappointing.

Despite my willingness to support a Black Owned and Operated Business by traveling from Midtown to the west end for Soul Food, I regret to say that I will not be returning. I ordered the Q-time classic, with the expectation that "classic" implies something old, vintage, or aged. Unfortunately, the chicken I received was indeed old, with tough, overcooked dark meat that emitted an unpleasant odor. Despite my familiarity with soul food and chicken, this was a subpar experience.

Upon returning to work and attempting to enjoy my meal, I found it to be unsatisfactory. I felt compelled to contact the establishment and speak with the General Manager, Andrew, to convey my dissatisfaction. Despite doing so, I was disappointed by the lack of acknowledgment or reassurance from him. It was evident that the establishment serves leftover, old chicken, which is a disservice to the community.

It is my belief that if an excess of chicken is prepared, it should be considered a loss rather than serving subpar, aged chicken under the guise of freshness. This practice reflects poorly on the individuals responsible and is truly disheartening.

Consequently, I will not be patronizing this establishment again. It is unfortunate to witness a business engaging in such practices, as it ultimately undermines the community it serves. I implore the establishment to strive for...

Welll, so much for a good thing. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY GOING TO Q-Time. I've been going to QTime for Years-- since college. However, I will no longer go there and give this place my business. I was unaware that the previous black owners NO longer own this restaurant-- an Asian man does. This explains the HORRIBLE food we just got. Tasteless food! Some of the previous staff still works there so we didn't realize anything had changed. Until we tasted the food---- All the food taste bad, NO flavor. Went back to speak to the staff and rhat is when we learned that the previous owner sold the restaurant and an Asian man owns it now. What a shame!

I feel bad for them because they seemed to be afraid to even offer a solution to the bad food. So not only did this new owner change all the recipes to tasteless, watered down and poor quality meals, he also is not fostering good Customer service to customers because he is not taking any accountability for the bad food. Dont WASTE YOUR MONEY or Time going here.

Disappointed that the previous owners sold, however sometimes Great thinhs come to an end. They will be missed!!--- they were such a staple in the community and the food quality was so consistent and good over ALL the YEARS. Even if they had long lines, you knew you were going to get great soul food so it was worth the wait to support them.

HOWEVER, this new owner is Terrible and won't get another dime from me, and I will be sure to get the word out to friend and family so they enter make a...
