Slim & Husky's Pizza Beeria (Adair Park) — Restaurant in Atlanta

I ordered a Buffalo chicken 16" pizza and an order of meatballs. The Buffalo chicken pizza is supposed to come with buffalo sauce and blue cheese drizzled on the top, but the Uber Eats menu forces you to choose a drizzle (or no drizzle) and blue cheese is not on the list. I picked ranch as a second best option and called the restaurant to ask them to make the pizza how they normally do it, because I like the combination of Buffalo sauce and blue cheese. Nobody would answer. I called repeatedly until I got notified that my delivery person had my food, but still nobody answered. Ultimately, I was unable to get the pizza the way it is listed on the menu. This was my first impression of the restaurant before I ever even saw their food I received a long, skinny pizza with a very thin crust, which was about as thin as the cheese It tasted good, but it was really missing the tanginess that blue cheese would have given it. I was expecting a relatively round, or oblong pizza, but there were pictures of pizzas shaped like this on their google page. People on google maps were talking about how nobody ever answers the phones and they don't expect the restaurant to be open much longer due to the staff's lack of interest in the customers. The meatballs were about the same diameter as quarters. The sauce is pretty good, but they give you a knife to eat them and no fork, or spoon. I tried to be careful, but the bottom of the tin was thin and I stabbed the knife right through it, letting the sauce leak out. I was able to avoid making a mess by putting the lid on the bottom. These meatballs are small to the point of looking like novelties. All in all, the flavor was pretty good, except for the sauce problem. The shrinkflation of making everything tiny to keep costs down was pretty obvious, here. The lack of anyone to answer the phone was embarrassing. What is the GM doing to allow unanswered phones to be a regular occurrence? This restaurant is getting extra exposure to loads of customers that would otherwise not know this place exists and the restaurant is wasting it by ignoring them! That seems really short...

Now that I got my refund from my credit card company, I can finally confirm that Slim and Huskies is ran by a bunch of scammers. I tried to order from them about 2 months ago, end of July, and when I went to pick my order up, they told me the power had gone out and they weren't fulfilling any more orders. Alright, that's cool, but how about my refund? $20 is $20.

They told me reach out to a GM named Amanda Walton- crickets. Never heard a word from her to this day, despite multiple emails. I called the store- I could hear noise in the background and Google said it was store hours, but the moment I pressed asking about my refund, the person on the phone started acting like the store wasn't open. Which admittedly was kind of funny, but come on. Over my $20 we're faking like the store is closed?

The food is fine. I'm Muslim and the time before they tried to scam me, I ordered the Nashville chicken and they messed my order up and gave me some pork heavy nonsense. That should have been my first warning, but I had decided to give them another chance since I was living in the area at the time. But the way they refused to give me my refund, I feel like everyone needs to know what kind of operation they're running here. Specifically, DO NOT ORDER THROUGH TOAST ON THE WEBSITE- that's what they used as an excuse to not pay me my refund out at the store. Which confused me, because why utilize an order service on your website if you can't refund it?

Forgot to take pics because I was starving lol. Got a craving for pizza and found this place on TikTok. Looked pretty good and it’s black owned so I figured I would gamble my hard earned money on this place. Me and my belly are more than pleased! The food was soooo good and fresh. I ordered 3 items. I got the Rony, Roni, Rone Hsky which is pepperoni and bacon bits I believe. Bangin!!! Really enjoyed the crust. Not as thick but still crispy/fluffy. Really enjoyed! The flavors and cheese quality were good. Can’t stand cheap cheese that has you chewing for days lol. Really enjoyed and can’t wait to try others. I also ordered the cinnamon rolls and omg…. No exaggeration. BEST CINNAMON ROLL I’VE EVER HAD. I’m not even a big cinnamon roll eater but these were next level. They had a slight crisp to them and the cinnamon was not overwhelming. I find sometimes places like Cinnabon overdue the cinnamon. I only ordered one but they are running a buy one get one special on uber eats and I just wanna say thank you 😭 I will be seeing about that Other one later for my midnight snack.
