I usually enjoy my morning stop at Starbucks, but today’s experience was beyond frustrating. I placed my order around 7:30 AM with a kind young man named Darian 😃😃, who was friendly and professional. Unfortunately, things quickly went downhill when it came time for my drink to be made.

The barista, Valerie, completely disappeared after the order was placed. At first, I didn’t take it personally—I noticed there was an order ahead of mine. But she was gone so long that another barista had to call out for her help, as the customer in front of me was also visibly frustrated with her.

When Valerie finally returned, she loudly said, ā€œI disappeared because people are ordering these nasty drinks and I did not want to make them.ā€ I was shocked. That kind of attitude toward customers is completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

She took nearly 10 minutes just to make the drink ahead of mine, clearly dragging her feet. When she finally started mine—a simple pumpkin spice cream Frappuccino—she was moving slowly, stopping to talk, walking around, and showing zero urgency. While I was on a phone call, she even stopped what she was doing to aggressively ask, ā€œWho are you talking to?ā€ Completely out of line.

I finally got my drink 15 minutes later, making me late for work thanks to Valerie’s deliberate slowness. When I got to my car and took my first sip, I realized the drink was green—she had added matcha instead of pumpkin spice! So not only did she take her time, but she also didn’t even make the drink correctly. I was stunned. Who knows if it was an accident or intentional, but either way, it was unacceptable.

This was by far the worst service I’ve ever received at this location. Valerie was rude, sluggish, disrespectful to both customers and coworkers, and clearly not focused or interested in doing her job. Starbucks needs to seriously address this kind of behavior—your customers...

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! Starbucks baristas main focus is to exude excellent customer service and sadly that’s not what I experienced at this location. I did not receive a greeting, the baristas were all over the place, there was a long line, I stood by the mobile order station and was never asked if I was waiting on an order. I got tired of waiting so I said ā€œI think this is my orderā€ to the barista and I reached over the sign and grabbed my drinks and was met with a ā€œwait a minute! Here, never reach over that sign again!ā€ In shock, I was still standing there waiting on the food of my mobile order and was met with a, ā€œcan I help you?!? What else are you waiting for!ā€ I responded timidly, ā€œI had a mobile order with foodā€ he then huffed and then started rushing the food over the counter like it was an inconvenience to him... so sad that a simple interaction was met with such attitude and poor customer service. I suggest training your employees with with better customer service prior to allowing them to work with customers, I will not be returning.

I did not get a name because I was in such shock from the rude treatment. But I was there around 1:42pm on Saturday 27th and the barista that treatment me like this had on a hat with brassy yellow curly hair popping out the hat. I suggest management have a talk with this...

We gave this place 3 solid tries before deciding not to come back again. Every time we went was in the evening, the service was slow, it seemed like they were understaffed and it was clear all 3 times that we went that the baristas were totally miserable.

Tonight we got two different flavor frappucinos, which are essentially supposed to be sugar bombs, and neither was sweet. It took about 10 minutes for our 2 drinks to come out. The cashier was barely paying attention to us and didn't tell me my total or to pay, just listened to my order and looked off into the distance. The place was also dirty, not the quality I usually expect at a Starbucks.

Like I said, this was the third time we went, so we really gave this place several chances to redeem itself and all 3 times the drinks just....weren't good! Why spend $7 on a coffee that you dont enjoy drinking? There's a Starbucks across the street at Kroger, maybe that one is better? We'll probably start looking for a small business coffee shop to...

THE friendliest Starbucks I have ever been to! I’ve been in numerous locations and I know the recent negative press may have some impact, but this staff went out of their way to be welcoming, warm and friendly. I watched them treat every single person who walked into that cafe with a sincere smile, call them by name, thank them and say, ā€œhave a great day!ā€ This pleasant atmosphere makes you want to return. Great group of employees.

I’ve been driving to ATL from Augusta to volunteer for the FIFA Club World Cup. Every morning I’m in town I stop by this Starbucks and am helped by the sweetest, kindest morning crew! I’m so excited to be here participating in this event and they just celebrate with me each time! This morning they left me a sweet message on my cup. Some great humans work here and I appreciate y’all making me feel like a regular and friend!
