Anne Irwin Fine Art — Attraction in Atlanta

I have loved Reinike Gallery since the 70’s in New Orleans. I was only 18 and just moved to New Orleans and woukd walk the French Quarter looking at art and galleries. I discover an artist Charles Reinike Sr. And feel in love with his water colors. I could not afford them but brought my new husband to see his work. My husband too loved the work. I brought my in-laws and they bought several paintings and I was thrilled for them. We went to one of their open houses and I discovered the son, Charles Reinike II and his wife. Christmas that year my in-laws gave my husband a pieces of Reinike Sr. Work. I could not even speak. On my own I save my money and over the years bought beautiful pieces of the sons work and also Ellen (I might have that name wrong) the wife of the son, beautiful Flowers. My sister in law went and lived Ellen’s work as well and still has pieces hung in her home. Over the years I moved out of New Orleans and lost contact with the Reinikes. I knew the Dad passed but I tried to find them. Another great artist Zella of that time I saw at my nieces husband art show on Julia Street and she told me their had king moved to Atlanta. I looked them up and my daughter is a designer and presence pieces of their art from their famous galley in Atlanta. This gallery I have not been lucky enough to see but I hear it is top of the top. Timing has not been right for me to visit, but I plan to the next time I go to Atlanta. They have some of the finest artist in their galley and yes Charles Reinike II has some beautiful pieces there as well. Treat yourself and go. You will...
