Bobby's Burgers by Bobby Flay — Restaurant in Atlantic City

During my recent stay at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Atlantic City, my family and I decided to try out Bobby’s Burgers for a quick meal. I ordered the fries, bacon crunchburger, dark chocolate shake, and the fried chicken sandwich. The food was solid, with the dark chocolate shake standing out as my favorite. The shake was rich and a great treat for anyone with a sweet tooth. However, the bacon crunchburger was just okay, nothing to write home about. The service was friendly, though it felt like the servers were ready to clock out. This place sadly did not meet my expectations. I have always loved Bobby Flay and have wanted to experience one of his restaurants. I ordered a plain burger with onions and bobby sauce and a side of sweet potato fries and my boyfriend ordered the Brunch burger. They gave us a chicken sandwich rather than the Brunch burger by accident. We ended up getting it sorted out but got to keep the chicken sandwich too and to our surprise the chicken sandwich was better than everything else that we had ordered!! Still not an impressing sandwich but better than the burgers. My burger was very boring tasting and the onions were chopped and not very fresh. Everything about the burger felt soggy. I ate here with a few friends and enjoyed sweet potato fries and a classic burger in a lettuce wrap because I have a gluten allergy. Took over 30 minutes to get my food which was not the worst part of this. The food tasted great until about an hour and a half later my stomach started turning. I first assumed I must have had some gluten which sucks but happens when eating out. I quickly realized I in-fact did not eat gluten rather I had just got food poisoning. I was not able to leave the bathroom for hours and all of my friends experienced similar reactions.
