I am writing to formally express my deep disappointment with the appalling service I received at your establishment on August 3, 2025 at 12:00am. This was, without exaggeration, the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered.
After waiting patiently in line, I was told by staff that the kitchen needed to take a 15-minute break. While I understand that employees need time to regroup, the break was poorly timed and not communicated properly to waiting customers. During this supposed “pause,” I noticed that a white customer was served ahead of me — completely disregarding the very break policy that had just been enforced in my face.
When I asked the manager, Angelo, why the kitchen break was necessary while customers were waiting, his response was dismissive. He stated the break was “needed to catch up,” which made little sense, especially since others were still being served. When I pointed out the inconsistency, including the fact that another customer had just been helped, Angelo brushed it off as “a mistake on his behalf.”
This kind of unprofessionalism and apparent bias is unacceptable. If there is a policy, it should be applied fairly to all customers — not selectively enforced. The experience left me feeling disregarded and disrespected.
I urge your management team to look into this incident seriously. Employees and managers alike should be trained to deliver equitable service to all patrons, regardless of race or background. My wife and I order 2 slices of plain pizza around 11:30pm June 29th. Obviously it’s busy at this time so I can understand a little bit. When 45 minutes passed and myself continuously asking when are we getting our two slices of pizza and a lady behind the counter had a bit of an attitude and said we are helping everyone as fast as we can. I said well there was people here well after me that have been helped served and on their way and I’m still standing here when they pulled two full-size pizzas out of the oven, I’ll take two slices out of those pies and they said that they were for another customer. I said I’ve been here 45 minutes waiting for two slices of plain pizza. Long story short, another gentleman approached me that worked there told me to watch my tone and attitude with the lady that I was talking to otherwise me and him were gonna get into an altercation. Someone needs to step back & look at how the business is not flowing from a customers perspective. I was 2nd person online for a cup of coffee, after 10 mins waiting & watching (7 I counted) employees walk around in circles & do nothing I finally walked away & headed over to the other all day quick pickup restaurant & got my coffee in no time. On my way back I passed by buddies & the guy that was in front of me was still waiting in line! Crazy!!! The next day went back thinking it can't be as bad as I thought. I ordered a cookie (only person in line) & waited & waited & watched a simple transaction turn into a 5+ minute transaction! Needless to say I won't be back!
