Atlantis Pizzeria — Restaurant in Atlantis

I have lived in the area for years and have never tried them until today. I called our normal place but they didnt have a driver available for delivery at the time and I had no way of getting there.. bummer?? guess again! Im usually picky about my food but I can absolutely say I loved every bit of it. We ordered 2 Large Pizzas, Wings, South Philly Cheese Steak, Napoli Roll (Stromboli) and a an Antipasto salad! The pizza was nice and thin, ingredients fresh and sauce was good (dont know what that other reviewer is talking about) . The wings were AWESOME! I asked for them, "as hot as you can make them" and it was pretty hot. They were well cooked and crispy like i prefer and topped with a delicious seasoning. The Napoli Roll was very unique. It was not overly doughy and open ended so you didnt have a ton of bread at the end. The South Philly Cheese Steak was yummy aswell, my wife ordered that one. We agreed, it was much better than several other local shops.. and lastly the Antipasto salad was fresh and had tons of toppings. When I first called I was greeted by the owner, he was very polite. I called back a little less than an hour later just to check the status because we had to be somewhere in an hour. He kindly apologized and told me there was 2 other larger orders before mine and offered a free 2 liter for the wait even though I told him I wasnt upset in the least and I was just curious, he still insisted so we got a coke. I have no idea if their pizza is any good or not. I just ordered for delivery. Their delivery person called me four times because he could not find my location. Turns out they had given him the wrong address to come to. (I verified my address online and did give them the correct address. Finally he found me. Got out of the car, took the pizza out of the bag, started walking toward me and the box was DRIPPING. A stead drip, not just a drop. I questioned it and the delivery fellow says the pizzas are greasy. I asked if he could open the box. The pizza was a disaster. Greasy and with part of the topping having run off on one side. I advised the driver that he needed to take the pizza back, ask them to make another and have it delivered. He said he would left. It took over an hour for me to receive that one. I truly believe the pizza might have been fine when it left the shop however it took the drive so long that there is no telling what the pizza went through. Atlantis uses Slice to handle their online delivery. I called them. Advised what had happened and they put me on hold and called the restaurant. When they came back to me they advised that Atlantis would not remake nor refund any money. The driver told them I had thrown the pizza at him. I never even touched the pizza. Yesterday I left a less than favorable, emotional review. I was disappointed with the contrast of the Margarita pizzas I had in the past. But this morning I I recieved a call from Yuri, the manager. He was very apologetic and genuinely concerned about the issue. He acknowledged that this was not the quality he takes pride in.He offered to refund my money. But this call to me is invaluable, something you rarely if ever find in businesses these days! I declined the refund, but he insisted on making me the best Margarita pizza like the ones I was use to. Another update... Within about an hour and a half of that call this came delivery to my home with Garlic knots also! Now this is the kind of Margarita I'm use to and what you will get from Atlantis Pizzaria!...
