Big Dave's Round 2 BBQ — Restaurant in Atoka

At first, I was a bit skeptical over the pricing, However, the portions accurately represent it. About $15 for the platter with 2 sides, but its like 2 hearty sammiches worth. Tender with the right amount of moisture to it. Potato salad is top notch! Definitely a "Grandma's recipe" type of thing. Anyone who disagrees has had their taste buds ruined by mass produced, commercial potato salad. Beans are wonderful. Sadly, I never have room for dessert. This place does it for me; leaving me with that rare sensation of "I'm so full but dear god I don't want to stop eating this!" I dig the sauces, pretty unique. I really think the negative reviews on here were written by people that had expectations of the more well-known establishments in the big city. I don't think it's fair. Went there Friday night. We decided to dine in. Prices were too high. My friend ordered the bbq plate with potato salad and baked beans. I got the bbq plate with baked beans and fries. The beans were absolutely delicious. The bottles with sauces in them weren't labeled. The sauces left a lot to be desired. The meat was okay. The potato salad was the worst thing we've ever tasted. It was so bad my partner had to spit it out. I tried it and I almost did likewise. It lacked flavor and texture. Our cat could've done a better job. We would gladly go back to pick up beans. Everything is super yummy but the customer service is so bad that I question going back. The first time i sent my husband to go order and get food. He was there for 45 mins. When he finally got the food they said they ran out of flour for the chicken strips. They never asked if he wanted to change the order or told him what was going on. The second time i called to atempt to place an order over the phone so we didnt have that ossue again and they answered and put the phone on the counter so i could hear them joking around the entire time and never came back to the phone.
