I have eaten here on a few occasions and my last visit was not good at all. I did not enjoy my taco salad and typically salads come with dressing(there was none besides the salsa). I dont like to waste food so i tried to keep eating but i was very disappointed and unsatisfied. I asked the clerk if there was anything they could do, she asked another person (man with VIDA tattoo on his left forearm) who gave me a major attitude telling me he isnt going to do anything if i dont like it buy something else while waving me off with his hands. Then he proceeds to say well your the inly person who doesnt like it. I replied extremely calmly and said im sorry but i cant speak for anyone else since we dont have the same taste buds but id just like to have my money back. My husband who is a native Spanish speaker then walked over to the counter and told the man in Spanish to just refund me. He didn’t hesitate to argue with him and make the reverse of the transaction. I may have been discriminated on because im a woman or because I’m american. But i do.know that the attitude stopped when a man of the similar culture and same gender approached the counter. You decide. I will not be returning and posting a review on ever site the...
Read moreI honestly don’t know what’s going on with Baja lately, but they’ve gotten real cheap with their portions. I asked for just a little more of something — nothing crazy — and somehow that turned into an extra charge. Like, seriously? The guy behind the counter was acting like the food was coming out of his own paycheck. If you’re going to charge extra, I better see a lot more food, not a spoonful that disappears before I even sit down.
What makes it worse is that the food doesn’t even make up for it. Bland, no flavor, no effort. I’ve had better seasoning from instant noodles. California Taco easily wins — their food actually tastes fresh, flavorful, and they don’t act stingy when you ask for a bit more. Baja needs to take notes, because right now, they’re giving off “budget cafeteria” vibes, not a place worth spending your money at.
If you’re gonna nickel and dime people, at least make sure the food is worth the price. Until then, I’ll be heading to California Taco where they know how to treat customers and...
Read moreI ordered from DoorDash and on the DoorDash app it clearly states just like in the picture below what is included in the rice bowl. I expected what was included in the rice bowl and added a few add ons to my rice bowl. When my food was delivered i realized what was included in the rice bowl was not given to me. Not only did the woman who answered the phone did not understand me. I spoke with the manager (after asking 3 times to speak to a manager) and he told me i need to take it up with doordash and it is not his problem. In what world does that actually make sense? Do i own a Baja’s food chain restaurant and added DoorDash as one of my delivery services? Or is that the job of a manager to handle situations like this? So i asked for my money back, and this guy hung up the phone in my face. When i tried to call back my phone number was blocked. Don’t worry they will be seeing me today once i get off work. SO I HOPE YOURE READING THIS REVIEW. Make sure you order from bajas in RI… wayyyyyy better customer...
