I've been here before and had various dishes, including breakfast. Today, it was definitely not good. It was a simple order, dropped eggs on toast with bacon and my moms dish, eggs over easy, hashbrowns and bacon.
My bacon was totally burnt and it's as if they took a clump of bacon and just dropped into a deep fryer.
My moms hashbrowns weren't cooked all the way and just a pile of grease. She didnt eat her hashbrowns of course. Her bacon was okay, way different and better than mine.
Not sure if it's a new cook or he was having an off day, but there's no way I would have served this plate to a customer.
The server was nice and it's not her fault, but again, I've been a server before and if my customers food doesnt look good, I would send it back to the kitchen.
She did say she would have discounted our meal, but a manager wasn't on duty just yet, so she did try to help. To me, it's more about the quality of food you're serving your customers. I didn't care about a discount, I just wanted a nice meal with my mom.
With that said, I still tipped our server pretty good. The bill was $16 and I gave her a $20. Just hope they do better...
Read moreI was impressed the first time I was there, liked the breakfast menu. Loved the food. Decided to come back with different family members few days after. I was accommodate promptly, was pleased. Restaurant looked clean, friendly staff. Second time unfortunately wasn't the greatest. The waitresses we're not so attentive, waited for my coffee be refilled while my food was getting cold, had to remind her that we needed more creamers, never got extra napkins. One of the biggest pet peeves, nails! Were too long in a restaurant setting, was touching my food. Not sure if it was her first week or day but was disappointed. Waitresses expect us to give 20% or more tip but it's hard to do with this type of service. For the menu prices you expect better service. I don't think it was so busy to not pay too much attention to this group. I heard so many wonderful reviews about this place. In this case, the waitress represents the business and unfortunately the restaurant gets a 3 star review. Hopefully I go back again in the future and...
Read moreDecided on a whim to check out the newly remodeled Morin's in Attleboro. We hadn't been in here in a very long time and we are so glad we decided to stop in! The remodeled dining room looks fantastic! The old diner aesthetic has been replaced with a modern, classy look. Valerie was our waitress. She was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, without being intrusive or overbearing. I started with a bowl of their soup of the day, a black bean and corn soup (not pictured). It was very tasty with pieces of bacon, onions, tomatoes, and a slight touch of spicy heat. 😋
For our entrees, the Bride-to-Be chose the chicken parm while I opted for the spicy crispy fried chicken sandwich. She's a bit of a chicken parm snob, but she said this was perfect! Thin, crispy breaded chicken cutlets smothered in a tasty sauce and plenty of cheese, served over rigatoni. My sandwich was great, with the perfect amount of heat (think a slightly milder Nashville hot chicken).
Overall a great experience and we will...
