Dairy Queen — Restaurant in Auburn Hills

My family and I choose to drive further to this Dairy Queen instead of going to the one on Main Street (Rochester) however tonight the boy at the counter typed in our order wrong which I could clearly read off the screen, I told him I needed a small chocolate soft serve with sprinkles in a mini cup, not the chocolate banana blizzard he had typed in, he just faintly said “uhuh ok” so I just moved on thinking he would fix it, my husband ordered a health blizzard with vanilla ice cream only, this is what he gets every time, and once again the order in the screen did not show correctly with the modification on only vanilla in the blizzard, I ordered a cotton candy and that’s the only thing that was right. They remade my daughter ice cream, I didn’t ask for the money back since they charged us for a blizzard when we got a soft serve with sprinkles and of course my husbands blizzard came with CHOCOLATE and vanilla, not just vanilla by its self. He didn’t want to make me have to have them fix ANOTHER ice cream after I already requested our daughters be fixed. I’m not sure what was wrong with the boy at the counter, the blank stares and “uhuh ok”’s clearly didn’t result in a correct very easy simple order. We love Dairy Queen but we wondered if maybe something was wrong with the kid. He just didn’t comprehend even after I had asked him confirm our order was correct… idk man....

I was quite disappointed with my visit at this location on Walton in Auburn Hills today. I went in and it was one young lady working, but it was one couple ahead of us and 3 guys came in after us together. Well the service was awful, it was obvious that she was irritated that we were there and nastily took my order. While she was preparing my order she yells out to the 3 guys behind me and says “is anybody else getting food, so I can go ahead and make while I’m fixing this order” the guys proceed to tell her what they want and she’s mumbling under her breath and slamming things around. I have never had an issue while visiting this store but her attitude will make me visit other locations. I can understand feeling overwhelmed if working alone, but customers should not feel like you are upset that they are there. The environment was calm and we all were patiently waiting so there should have been a little bit more kindness shown...

I ordered 2 cakes to be picked up at 1 and they were not decorated when I went at 1:30ish. I customized a personal cotton candy blizzard cake and a regular 8inch cake. Again I asked for pick up time at 1 arrived at 1:30 and they were not ready. He finishes up my cakes and that night for my daughter birthday I cut into her mini cotton candy blizzard cake to find fudge and cookie in it with cotton candy ice cream😳 where’s the cotton candy pieces at do u put fudge in a cotton candy blizzard I get a blizzard cake every year and it always has the cotton candy pieces in the middle not fudge or cookie.then the 8 inch had hardly any chocolate ice cream it was mainly vanilla and the fudge cookie in the center.
