I really hope this place is here to stay. My go to drinks are usually a Taro Milk Tea and a Brown Sugar Boba latte which were both super delicious! What a bonus and surprise to have real Taro in the milk tea! I believe I met the owner on the day I went. He was very friendly. The place is clean and has a great vibe to it. Can't wait to visit again.
Update - Online ordering is very inconvenient. You have to know what goes exactly in your drink in order to get it the exact way when ordering in person. I ordered the brown sugar boba latte and got milk and regular bobas. No brown sugar. When I order the brown sugar boba latte, I expect a brown sugar boba latte. You can't expect your customers to know every ingredient down to the recipe in order to get the exact drink when ordering online. I have ordered 3 times online and everytime, my drink was completely different than what it was when I ordered in person. Also sucks when you pay $1.25 for premium ingredients but then you get regular boba's...
Read moreIt was such a disappointment for me and my friend today. The atmosphere was uncomfortable, and my friends drink was made incorrectly and all she ordered was a standard bubble tea. We both got the exact same drink, but they looked and tasted different. The drink isn't bad, but a little weak and not something I would try to go and have again especially with some many other options in town. The menu boards are hard to read, and parts are side ways, the instructions they give are unclear and it didn't seem like our batista was listening to us when we spoke. We have both and milk tea 100 times and knew what we wanted but it was hard to get a word in at first with her. On top of this, she didn't seem to know what milk tea was? Which is confusing since its advertised as a bubble tea store. Seriously, don't waste your time and go right around the corner to Oakland Tea House. The milk tea is more authentic and even...
Read moreI usually donât leave reviews, but I feel like this experience needs to be shared. Clearly, Presto-tea lacks customer service. My sister wanted to pay with cash and had a picture of her order ready to show since she couldnât use the kiosk (it only accepts cards). When she went to the counter and asked if she could place an order, the employeeâs response was, âwhatâs up.â
Thatâs not how you greet or help a paying customer. It came across as dismissive and unprofessional. A simple, âHi, how can I help you?â wouldâve gone a long way. Instead, it felt like she was bothering him by trying to place an order.
If youâre running a business, especially one with a kiosk system, there should always be a courteous way for customers to order with cash. Customer service matters, and this was disappointing.
Threw the macaroon order at my 6 yr old instead of handing it directly to her.
