I saw this place show up out of nowhere on UberEats and finally made time to check it out in person.

Small place and they seem to have opened recently so not as big of a menu or with the standard amenities you’d find in the average bubble tea shop but food and drink tasted fine and hope to come back for more.

Sandwich baguette was pretty crispy and wasn’t too soft, too hard or stale. Pork tasted pretty good and was tender, good amount inside and cooked right. Decent amount of veggies too.

Drink sizes are decent...like a semi skinny tall container but they didn’t try to cram too much ice in it and you get a good amount of boba/pearls but not too much. Good ice, boba, and tea ratio. Other places add too much boba and most of it I end up throwing away or there’s too much ice.

They also offer spring rolls which I didn’t order but portions and size look decent enough for me to try next time.

This is kind of tucked away a little north of the nearby Safeway parking lot but it’s not that far of a walk. Indoor space is really small but there are chairs inside to sit on while you wait.

No stamp card or phone number point system when I came by here but other customers were talking about a raffle ticket thing going on. It would be nice to have a stamp thing in the future but If not, would like to see the menu expand if business improves.

I was not offered customization options that your usual bubble tea place has like more or less ice, sugar, dairy options etc. Maybe it was noted in their menus but I didn’t notice and I didn’t ask but good idea to call ahead and check if that’s important for you.

EDIT: Was asked customization options which is great. Would like it to be more easily visible on a menu. There are TVs running but we’re on loop on the stock loading screen. Hopefully those can be utilized for the menus.

Overall a nice option for Auburn and great for a quick drink and bite. There’s a bubble tea place in the nearby mall but then you still have to walk through some shops while this place you can just park nearby and it’s a few feet away.

You can get bubble tea from teriyaki or pho spots in the area and they’re ok but they just don’t scratch the bubble tea itch for me.

I can see this place getting popular in the Summer. I would call ahead of time to order as there are only a few workers here. There was only one group ahead of me but I didn’t have to wait very long for my order.

Also, if you need more photos and other reviews, there are some over on their Yelp page. Their Facebook page notes a buy 3 sandwiches get 1 free promotion but not sure how long that is going on for.

EDIT: Tried the taro and that was great. My 2nd sandwich here had bread a bit harder than last time. The fillings were still...

Went in last night w/ a friend and ordered a black milk tea w/ boba and a bbq pork bahn mi. She got nearly the same thing. There were lots of people waiting around for their orders. Some asked if their sandwich was still coming out. We overhear the worker tell another customer that there wouldn’t be enough boba for all of their drinks. Then we ask if that means we won’t get boba as well. He says they’re completely out of boba. So we ask for a refund on the drinks. He hands me $6.25 which I have to tell him is not enough, there’s tax (completely forgetting the extra price of boba). Then he hands me another $.50. That still isn’t enough and he still hasn’t given me the tax, but at that point I’m not gonna keep going. (They also got to keep the tip on the order before the refund) After this whole ordeal we still have to wait 15-20 minutes for 1 sandwich. We waited a total of maybe 30-40 minutes. Bahn mi was one of the worst I’ve had. Not worth $7. You’re better off going to the Lincoln...

I’ve never been so disappointed in a banh mi. Was really excited to try this place and happy to see favorable reviews. Something was majorly off today, though.

First, the bread. It was incredibly stiff and stale. Normally the baguette is soft and chewy inside and slightly crunchy on the outside, everywhere else I’ve gotten them.

Second, the meat. Ordered three grilled beef banh mis. The meat inside was deli meat. Yeah, DELI MEAT! Not only was it deli meat, but it was cold and flavorless and there was very little, maybe one thin slice.

Third, the veggies. There were hardly any and it was mostly carrots.

Overall, it was a waste of time and it took them 10 minutes to make four banh mis. We tried to eat them, but are throwing away two of them.

Luckily, the black milk tea with crystal boba was tasty and I’d order it again.

If the restaurant reads this, I’d be happy to try your restaurant again if this was just an off day and somehow came up short on...

When in town, we usual like to stop by to get boba. Yesterday 2/4/23, my daughter drove over from Spokane and wanted some boba. The place is located downtown, small and tucked and hidden from view. Currently, across from the place there's construction of a building that was erected which hides the business even more. Located in a plaza with other businesses. Safeway building is next to it. So far, we have purchased the Taro milk tea $6.50 ( forgot to take a pix), Black tea with brown sugar $6.50, Almond milk tea with boba $6.50 plus .75 extra for boba. All were delicious. It is creamier then most other places. I noticed yesterday that my Almond milk tea contained ice half of the cup which was disappointing as I noticed I finished it pretty quick. I highly recommend ordering with light ice in the future. I have yet to try their sandwiches. Looking at previous reviews, it does not look filled but rather hollow. Hmmm...we shall see.
