Hard no for one reason⦠you will not be able to get this guy to schedule a touch up. He wonāt touch up his own work. I brought with me several clients including myself, my sister, my daughter, boyfriend, brother-in-law and niece - my son and my daughter's dad were next but hadnāt gone in yet. For those of us who did go in, we had work done (myself twice) - all of us tip very generously. In fact, at my second visit, when receiving payment including tip, Jason seemed surprised and said "this gets you touch-ups". I'd assume given this is your work, you'd ensure it looks great for anyone but whatever. We tip well and that was his comment. My second tattoo needs a touch up bad. It developed thick and painful scabs (I notice another reviewer had the same experience) and I'm thinking there was a mild infection but not positive.... Either way, it healed real weird which is something I've never experienced before. It needs some touch up as a result. Itās been about 5 weeks. Iāve been trying to schedule a touch up and Jason tells me something different every time as to why he canāt do it. First was his Monday was full, then he tells me he only does touch ups Tuesday and Wednesday. Then he tells me heās booked out and canāt schedule anything in advance but heāll let me know. Doubtful given Iāve had to follow up with him each time because he never actually gets back to me. I was asking my sister how long I should wait to try again and she told me he wouldnāt schedule her touch up either so she had to go somewhere else! Thatās ridiculous. Back your work up and provide a touch up when needed - We're walking marketing boards for tattoo artists and when you're asking for some mild touch up on new but healed work and are met with total resistance.... something is weird there.
In hindsight, I honestly should have known because when I went in for my second tattoo he wouldnāt even glance at my first one when I asked him to check it out and tell me if he thought it needed any touch up (since I was there anyway and youād think an artist cares about the work he puts out). Up until now I was recommending Jason, handing his cards out and sending people I care about to him. Not anymore.
UPDATE: Of course no word from Jason but I did visit another shop. My scaring is so bad I need a 6-8 week regimen before my tattoo can even be touched for fixing the damage Jason did. Looking in to reporting him as I did indeed develop an infection and again, deep scaring. I feel bad I sent...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am extremely disappointed with my experience at this tattoo shop. My girlfriend put down a $200 deposit for a tattoo with the promise that the artist would have it drawn up quickly. From the moment she and her 4-year-old daughter walked in, the artist was incredibly rude and treated them as if they were a nuisance. Over the next two months and four uncomfortable visits, we witnessed nothing but unprofessional behavior.
When we finally saw the sketch, it looked like something a child had drawnānot remotely acceptable for a professional tattoo. To make matters worse, the artist keeps three aggressive, loud dogs in the work area. These dogs arenāt service animals, and their constant barking and growling almost brought the little girl to tears. Shockingly, the artist even yelled at her to get away from the dogs.
When we requested a refund of the deposit, he started yelling about a āno refundsā policy posted on the door and then physically pushed me out of the storeāall in full view of a terrified 4-year-old. Although a police officer arrived and assisted, I declined pressing charges to avoid further distress for the child.
I would caution anyone considering this shop to look elsewhere for quality, safety, and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI'm truly in shock that Jason is still in business. I had a horrible experience today. I didn't want to finish my tattoo at his shop. He's not understanding of pain, he's not customer oriented, he's agitated and his responses are rude. I honestly did not feel comfortable around him. His work is also not that impressive. But mainly, what made this experience horrific was his attitude! As a business owner, your first priority should be customer service. Making sure your customers are treated kindly and friendly. He did the opposite. Please do not waste your time at this shop. There are other tattoo shops in auburn, close distance, that do much better work. I learned that the hard way unfortunately. A very...
