My wife and I have really enjoyed dining at Byron's over the years. And I mean many, many years. It has always been great food at reasonable prices. The grits were too salty to eat. And the restaurant apparently changed the brand of bacon. It was bad! We agreed we would not eat breakfast there again...and haven't. Amazingly economical prices, friendly service and management. Limited hours on game days, so go early... they all like to be part of the AU football games like the rest of us (can't blame them!). Brunswick stew is highly recommended as is their pecan pie. Sliced sausage with cheese sandwich is a great breakfast option.
