I'm sure it is a good place most nights, but the server we had tonight was obnoxious. He was a young kid, Under legal drinking age. As he announced to a different table who order alcohol. He was rushing us as soon as we sat down. I was trying to think what I wanted as I was looking at the menu and he just kept naming things off, felt like he was just trying to talk me into something rather then letting us figure out on our own what we wanted. My wife order the combo ap, but wanted Ranch dressing with the buffalo chicken rather then blue cheese. He suddenly backed up and in a load voice said "It comes with three dressings I cant just add ranch on there!" What?! Why not. Then just put it in a cup and on the side. Then after we ordered, we didnt see him until after our food came out, and my meal was all wrong. I told the women who brought the food to us that it was wrong and she mumbled that it wasn't even close this time. Which tells me he was getting things wrong alot. So the rest of my family had their meals and I got my meal 20 minutes after due to the mess up. I took two bites and our waiter comes over again and asks if we want boxes. Just kept pushing to get us out of there is how I felt. My son ordered a root beer, and for some odd reason, it is not free refills for root beer. Found this out whil we were all picking at the apps and they where eating their meals, we all ran out of drinks. He walk by from a distance twice, seen our empty cups but did not come to ask. So I lined them up on the edge of the table. Still nothing. Then when he came to ask us if we needed boxes, I said no, but we need refills. As the cups where still sitting on the edge of the table. That is also when he told me that he had to charge us for a new root beer and chocolate milk because those are not free refills. Why? I understand chocolate milk, but why is Coke, diet coke, and all the other soda's free refills but Root beer isnt? The brisket had great taste, but they put it on a piece of bread to make it look bigger. It was a think slice. False advertisement. Ribs, corn, and bacon chicken were all good. Food was good, but I dont think I'll go back. Over...
Read moreWe arrived at this Chili's establishment probably around 6:30 7:00. There was no seats at the bar which was fine we sat down at a booth. We then proceeded to order food and drinks after about 15 to 20 minutes. Obviously Friday night a lot of people drinking having fun but the servers were friends with the clients so it was a little excessive. To also note on that the server came over with cherries and with the spoon serve the clients cherries out of the jar and then put it in the client's drink and then proceeded to put the spoon back into the jar to then serve more cherries to people at the table. There was also some other fruit that was displayed at the bar that people were just grabbing with their hands was pretty disgusting. We waited for our food for about 30 to 45 minutes notice that our food wasn't coming out Waiter for our table told us it would be done a minute 20 minutes went past finally we received our food chicken was cold corn was soggy we got the combo special. At this point we were kind of upset but was hungry anyways so just ate the food that was there and the other food left it off to the side. They did give us a $10 discount but with how the food was served and how cold it was and us being hungry we ate what we could. The server came over twice never got refills for our drinks and after we were all done eating asked us how the food was at that point is when we told her that half of it was cold their ribs were very gamey and had a lot of fat but we're okay for the most part it was at least warm. For all in all I would give this service and establishment a 3 out of 10. Basically for the sheer fact that you should never take someone's spoon from someone's drink that they were drinking out of and proceed to put it in a jar that you are going to serve to other customers that is a big no-no. And the other downfall was the...
Read moreThe location in Auburn is hit or miss. We, however, keep coming back to roll the dice because my wife loves the cajun pasta. Last night was a pair of snake eyes (dice metaphor). The cajun pasta that my wife ordered came out luke-warm (bordering cold). I said something to our server (pleasant enough young kid) who took the plate to the kitchen and moments later came back with the same plate of cold pasta now literally drenched with piping hot Alfredo sauce (yes, same cold pasta underneath). He said, "the pasta will get cold sometimes and so they added some sauce to warm it up.. but if you don't like it, we can just make you another." Requesting another is what we requested to begin with. By the time the newly made meal came out for my wife, my daughter and I were finishing dinner. The person who takes your order is never the person bringing you the food by the way. The "plate runner" lacked the personality to smile and even be just a little pleasant. She clearly was either having a terrible night or just hates her job. The owner will offer those with a bad experience to go on a website and submit your experience to a CSR. We've been through this song and dance and the result is a standard $25 gift card to use for a future visit. You won't get reimbursed for your bad experience. For my wife and I and the small buttered pasta dish we ordered for my daughter, after tax and tip, the bill was nearly $80. No special drinks...just soda and water. They moved to milk in juice boxes now...that little thing will cost you almost $3. For the price we paid, we would have been better off going to a nice local Italian restaurant. Chili's is your typical corporate chain where service and food is sub-par but for top dollar. Buyer beware! Eating at home seems more and more appetizing (pun...
