D'Lara Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in Auburn

The wife and I have been getting dinner here every Tuesday for a few weeks now. We stop in here at the Outlet Collection Mall to grab some dinner before heading across the parking lot over to Walmart for our weekly shopping trip. The gentleman who appears to be the manager, or possibly owner, has to be one of the nicest guys around! The first meal we tried, we got hooked on it! It was the Jo-Jo plate which consists of very tasty, savory strips of meat, which they grill up right in front of you, and it sits atop a nice little basic salad with fetta cheese crumbles and juicy red tomatos, and it also comes with a generous helping of fries. We have honestly not even had a chance to try any of their other offerings, as we can't quit ordering the Jo-Jo plate because it is so good! It costs just over $12, and it is enough of a portion that you could actually get two meals out of it (that is, if you can resist eating the entire portion right then and there! (Which we...

I ordered a gyro plate, a gyro wrap, a plate of dolmas and a gyro side dish through Ubereats this afternpon. The whole order, with driver tip, came to a little over $61. However, what I got was two gyro wraps, an order of dolmas and the side dish. When I called the restaurant to complain and get my refund back, the manager called me the "c" word and to shut the f-up. I admit, I did say what they charge for what amounts to two bites of gyro wrap [which i found out later was doused in Tsaziki sauce to hide the bad test, and so greasy the pita bread was uneatable] was criminal. However, seeing how they got my order wrong and the amount of money I paid for something that end up in the garbage, you'd think he'd be more polite.

So, buyer beware. Ishtar in Kent has so much cheaper and yummier greek food. Also, the guys who work there know insulting a customer isn't a way...

I would have to honestly say this restaurant was the worst experience that I’ve ever had in at Gyro Restaurant. All I wanted was a salad without feta, dressing and sme extra veggies. Mind you this very shredded small salad cost over $15. They would not get my order correct. When they continue to put the dressing and feta on my salad when I was the only customer there they told me it was fast food my order was taking too long. When I asked to cancel my order.
