Gotcha Arenas — Attraction in Auburn

We held my 8 year old's birthday party here this weekend. It was really the first birthday party he'd had, due to COVID, and it was fantastic! The Gotcha team took care of all the details for us so that we could just enjoy the fun. Our party host, Ty, was very attentive and checked in regularly to make sure we had what we needed without interrupting the activity.

A few details that may be helpful for others to know: The party rooms included a Happy Birthday banner, table coverings, plates, and napkins. I didn't do any additional decorating because it really didn't seem necessary. The kids were only in the room to quickly eat pizza/cake and then ran back out because they wanted to keep playing. The pizzas are huge, definitely XL sized. We did the 20-person package, which came with 4 pizzas, and we had leftovers. They're from the Villa Pizza at the food court and the quality is decent. Gotcha provides the small 8 oz water bottles for everyone, and we were also allowed to bring in juice pouches and cupcakes/cake. We had two kids with severe food allergies, and Gotcha was also fine with waiving their "no outside food" policy for them so that they could bring in something safe to eat. The lobby area is a nice place with couches and chairs where parents/guardians can hang out while their kids are playing; if you're hosting a party, that might be a preferable place for parents to be vs. the party rooms, which only have folding chairs. We had kids from ages 6 - 12, as well as parents, who participated, and EVERYONE had a lot of fun. It's definitely a place that can be enjoyed by all ages.

While the birthday party in the Arena was a pleasant experience but the staffs are ridiculous. We got treated so badly and rudely in the name of protocol .

I forgot my diaper bag in the premises and exited the area around 6:55 PM and by 7:00PM I received a call from a friend to pick my bag. By 7:02 I was in there and the staff asked me to verify it. I told them the brand name and as it was a diaper bag told them I had some wipes and diaper along with some clothing . He asked me for the clothing details, I told him I couldn’t recollect exactly as it was in the bag for a while but just gave him few details like a sweater and hoodie. He asked me what else was there , I told him there was a water bottle from Hawaii , he refused to give the bag to me and was extremely rude stating the water bottle didn’t match the exact description I gave. I pleaded him initially as my kid was in the car but he showed no remorse but kept on insisting I cannot give the bag as it’s a protocol . Couple of us tried to explain him that It was ours and I can give him a copy of my Id and email/ phone number as well but he was so determined to lock the door . It was very clear he didn’t want to hand over the bag at any cost because at this time it was more of this ego . Party host explained that we were part of the party and they can be contacted if anyone else approaches for the diaper bag but he simply refused to hear any of us out.The other staff asked this one employee to give the bag but he was adamant and shut the door on us .

Extremely poor customer service and rude , unethical behavior. Hope employees thriving on ego doesn’t bring the business down .

Loved it! Came here on a Friday for my 8 year olds birthday party. We had the whole place to ourselves! The boys loved it so much and had a blast! We ordered the 10 person package and got 2 large pizzas and small water bottles (perfect for kids). We got our own room with the tables and everything set up. You can bring your own decorations if you want to. All the boys got safety glasses and special socks. They could change nerf guns as often as they like. There were so many places they can hide in and the space theme was really cool. One of the owners even played a couple games with them and they loved shooting him! All the employees were so nice and helpful! The moms just sat in the room talking while kids were outside the clear curtain playing and shooting. Only thing I wish was that they had a restroom inside the place but it was just next door so it wasn’t far to walk. The pizza was great and you can buy popcorn or other drinks if you want. We brought our own donuts. The owner was super nice and even gave the kids popcorn while we were waiting to leave. Kids already wanna go back and we definitely will!
