I had the luxury of visiting Foosackly's in Mobile, AL the week before I visited this Foosackly's. The Mobile location is where its HQ is, so I expected the quality there to be a little better.
The food was good. Sure, it's basically another chicken finger joint, but the breading is thinner and crisper. Think the best battered fried shrimp you've ever had, and that's how these chicken fingers are cooked. It was a refreshing change up from Guthrie's and Zaxby's, 2 other southern chicken finger staples in the Auburn, AL area.
Unfortunately, the Auburn location didn't hold a candle to Mobile. In addition to having a unique seafood flair on their fingers, the service was blazing fast and hot. I got my food a good 4 minutes after I ordered it during a busy rush hour.
The Auburn location wasn't incredibly slow, but they weren't as fast as the other location. At 3pm on a weekday during the summer, it was relatively slow. We still ended up waiting about 10min for our food. And the flavor only carried a hint of the unique seafood flavor at the Mobile location. It tasted similar to Guthrie's or Zaxby's to be honest. Not worth going out of my way for. I'd go to Guthrie's instead since it's closer and my preferred chicken finger restaurant.
I was really hoping for Foosackly's to distinguish itself from similar restaurants in the area,...
Read moreFoosackly's never disappoints! I recently stopped by and ordered their Box with Foo sauce, and it was absolutely delicious 😋 The chicken tenders were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The Foo sauce added a flavorful kick that took the meal to the next level. And let's talk about their Fresh Squeezed Lemonade 🍋—refreshing and the perfect complement to the meal.
The service was fast and friendly, with staff members who were attentive and made sure everything was to my satisfaction👍 The cleanliness of the restaurant was also impressive, adding to the overall positive experience😁
Whether you're craving some crispy chicken tenders or a refreshing drink, Foosackly's is the place to go. I highly recommend trying their Box with Foo sauce and Fresh Squeezed Lemonade—you won't be...
Read moreAlways wondered what this place was about as I pass it every time I go home to New Orleans. I literally pass this place every evening en-route to work at the University. Drive-thru is always backed up but I decided to stop for a bite Friday evening. Previous three days no line but the day I finally decide to stop by line is wrapped around. However, there was a sweet young lady outside going from car to car (Miss Mallory) taking orders which sped up the process tremendously. I tried the two fingers snack with a Dr. Pepper and Smokey BBQ sauce. Can tell this is thoroughly fresh chicken. Toast was okay, fries were awesome, but Smokey BBQ head a little kick also my two tenders had a little kick. All in all not a bad dinner for six bucks. Would definitely try again. Thanks Mallory and crew for making my...
