It's absolutely amazing how often they're out of one thing or another. Apple fritters? Don't even bother. They're always out.
And if they run out of donut holes they resort to cutting up plain glazed donuts and selling the chunks to you without bothering to mention it. Contrary to what whoever decided that was ok thinks, the donut holes and the glazed donuts are two different things. I actually personally don't care for the plain glazed donuts, so when I order donut holes, that's what I want. If you're out, just tell me you're out. Unfortunately, I'm very, very used to it at this point.
On the positive side of things, most of the staff are quite friendly, and there are days when they actually put forth effort towards making you happy when they're out of something. I wish I had gotten the name of the awesome girl that served me on one of the days they were out of apple fritters (but were willing to make some, which most of the time they won't bother). She checked on me several times, offered me a free drink, etc. I declined the extras, but just the bit of EFFORT made all the difference. Only reason this is a 3 star review...
Read moreMade an online order. Went to store to pick up order. I was missing my $6 frozen latte and when I asked about the latte I was informed they were out of ice. I requested a refund and after the cashier rolled her eyes and sighed loudly, the cashier stated I can let you speak with someone else. The someone else, a supposed Manager, informed me they could not give a refund because they would have to refund entire order and they had already given me my doughnuts. I asked if they could then give me something of equal value since I already paid for the latte and the “Manager” said yeah I guess I could make it hot. What??? I do not want it hot but it was better than getting ripped off. I know it is only $6 but come on Krispy Kreme “Manager”, what kind of problem solving skills do you possess? Point - No one offered a resolution but me and I was expected to just give them my money for something I was not going to receive. Read moreI went in with my boyfriend the other day to see if the donuts were fresh since it was 7pm and the hot sign wasn’t on. We saw workers at the register and then when we walked in everyone had walked to the back. We waited at the register for about five minutes and a girl came walking to us but went to the drive thru window and she didn’t say a word to us or look at us. A few minutes go by and we were waiting to see how long it took her to turn around and serve us at the register. No one was in the drive thru and no one was ordering so she was just standing there not looking at us. Another worker walked in the front door, walked past me and my boyfriend and then walked to the back of the store. We waited for 10 minutes and left in frustration and we called them to see what the problem was. The girl on the phone lied and said we didn’t stay long enough and that when she walked back to serve us, we were gone. This was not the case at all. Krispy Kreme needs to quit hiring teens that don’t care about...
