Krystal — Restaurant in Auburn

I only gave 1 star because 0 stars is not an option.

First, our order was taken and the guy on the drive thru speaker was ok, not overly nice, but nothing to remember in terms of bad service. When we drove up to the window we were handed 2 of our 3 drinks and then asked to move up to 'the white line' to wait. Waited about 10-15 minutes to get our order -- 50.00 worth. ALL of the Cheese Krystals were so cold it literally felt like they were in the refrigerator or left out in a cold building overnight. The cheese was not melted at all (11 in total).

We decided to keep the fries and the Krystal Chicks because they appeared to be ok.

As soon as I Walked in I was met with attitude. When I explained that our food was cold - I was told 'you are over exaggerating'. Shocked at what I heard, I asked the lady what she said and she said it again!! I then asked who the manager was and apparently it was the lady standing next to her that had no problem with her talking to me like that. When I asked her 'are you ok with her talking to me like that?. No response.

I was not in a good place so I asked my husband to wait inside for them to cook the food so I could try to feed my 3 hungry babies fries and Chicks.

Fries were awful. Chicken crust was rock hard and there was so much gristle in them, the kids couldn't even eat them.

45 mins later, we have replacement food. It was no better....

AND we still never got that 3rd drink.

Please do not waster your time or money...

We stopped a few minutes after 11 PM on March 31, 2022 (online says this location is open until midnight). We parked so my fiancé could go in b/c the drive thru appeared to not be moving. After a few minutes he came running out as if the building was on fire. He said they told him that the lobby was closed & we would have to use the drive thru. If that's correct, why was the door unlocked? ...So we got in line at the drive thru... 20... minutes... later... with only 3 cars that have placed orders, I see the lady in front of us speeding away from the speaker, I pulled forward and the very rude young kid tells me that they are closed. When I questioned, he laughed & told me to leave. No explanation was offered, just "you need to leave." As I pulled around to exit the parking lot, he was hanging out of the drive thru window waving and laughing. We got back on the interstate and found a Krystals in Montgomery that was true to the hours posted and received the best service I've had at a fast food chain (other than Chick-fil-A). I came by during the night shift tonight, and the experience was incredibly unprofessional. The employee working tonight literally walked from her car to the drive-thru to take my order, clearly not where she should have been during her shift. I came to pick up a DoorDash order that included kids’ lemonades, and instead of offering a simple solution like sizing up the drinks into a larger cup, the employee told me to let the customer know they wouldn’t be getting a drink at all. When I politely suggested sizing up to avoid that, she reacted with a nasty attitude, grabbed a handful of cups, and threw them everywhere, claiming there were no lids, even though I saw a stack of medium and large lids by the window. Her energy was aggressive and unprofessional, and she clearly wasn’t interested in helping or even listening. I ended up just leaving. People like that shouldn’t be in...
