It's a nice atmosphere and the food is fairly good when compared to other Chinese food restaurants. This is my coworkers favorite if not only Chinese food spot and I have accompanied him here several times for lunch. The lo mein is made without too many ingredients to make it distracting so I would give it a plus. The amount of meat included in the fried rice is moderate, just enough to cover the fact that some sort of meat does go in there. The Sweet Tea is pleasant and not too overpowering with all the extra sugar. Egg drop soup is also another favorite, usually serves as a great appetizer. Staff is pleasant and eager to serve, a bonus with established family owned businesses. The young lady remembers our orders from our previous visits which is always gives a place that "personal" touch. That particularly puts it over the top as far as I'm concerned, I love it. The only downside I see to this place is that the overall interior is dated and a bit small. A good cosmetic update with some drywall, lighting, and paint would do wonders for this spot.... All in all, one of the best Auburn...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve lived in the Auburn area for 7 years, and this was the worst food quality/service Iāve received! I ordered my usual meal of Beef Lo mein / Orange Chicken/ Egg rolls After opening my meal I noticed all of my order was incorrect.. Wrong Lo mein / wrong chicken / no egg rolls I went back to Ming House the next day with my receipt and pictures of what I received. The owner / women working the register seemed adamant from the beginning my order was correct. I politely explained my issue and had no intention of receiving a refund. I just wanted them to recognize the mistake and make things right. After 10-15 minutes of conversation she decided to call the employee who took my order. She then told me my order/phone call was recorded, which I was unaware of! Then I was told my order was correct and left with no options other than to leave and write this review. Me and my wife enjoy eating at various locations in the Auburn/Opelika area and this was without doubt the WORST EXPERIENCE. Bad food / horrible management...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe've been coming here consistently for the last year. Loved this place. I don't know when management changed, but I will say I was vastly disappointed. The food quality has obviously dropped, prices up. Crab Rangoons barely had any filling, lady at counter didn't stop by even once after bringing the food, despite us being one of two tables currently eating. Teriyaki chicken was cold, and sweet. Didn't taste anything like teriyaki. Bit into a crunchy bit of maybe brown sugar? Uncooked rice in the sushi. Barely anything inside it, too. Mostly rice. Not worth the 60 dollars whatsoever. I miss old management. I won't be coming back unfortunately. This was my...
