Taco Time NW — Restaurant in Auburn

I have eaten taco time my whole life, I grew up in Washington, I used to eat regularly at the original taco time in white center. This is officially the greasiest taco time ever. I've eaten at some roach coaches that had better food at cheaper prices. this taco time franchised location made my whole family have food poisoning from the food being overly greasy or fattening or just undercooked I'm not sure. . Stay away from this particular taco time stay far away. If they mess your oder up in anyway your still stuck paying for it, they only offer to make you more of the food they originally messed up, and if you are a tourist and don't like the food or took a bite or didn't take a bite and just didn't like how it looked IE burnt or greasy, half the size it normally is , and go to immediately ask for a refund you will end up getting told that you can only get your food replaced and that you can't get a cash refund unless there the owner manager present BECAUse apparently the only one authorized to refund orders is one person. That one person doesn't like to refund cash and will back up the original statement of we can replace the order but can't refund the cash was told by two managers that it's their policy to replace not refund.. What if you want a Gift Card refund so you don't have to deal with smaller portions, or their overly greased beef, or BECAUse you want to eat at a different taco time closer to your home where you know you like that locations food ? Nope has to be their food at that location off of 14th St ne. The only way to get your money back for a messed up order from this location is to harass corporate taco time with emails and phone calls until they can confirm with the owner of that franchised location that you did place a order there and then maybe you will be able to get a Check mailed out to you by the end of a month. I'm sorry but I will never be back at this location. . After getting obviously messed up super greasy food the only way I could get a Gift Card or my cash back and not more super greasy tacos was to deal with corporate taco time. The manager Anthony said he couldt refund my cash or issue a Gift Card when I brought In the messed up food immediately after purchase. I went through the drive thru and didn't leave the parking lot. I parked and realized my bag was literally dripping grease. . I had to wait to talk to a manager on Monday mind you this was on a Friday. Monday the manager that could do refunds of cash told me that they only replace the food if it's messed up they never refund it. I talked to corporate taco time and they offered me a refund in check BECAUse they don't know why this particular location would refuse to refund food especially since it was not partially eaten and literally seconds after after going through the drive thru. The tacos were so greasy over two table spoons of grease poured out of the shell and wrapper. Even the manager agreed they were not made right, but said the owner is the only one who can refund orders and would be in Monday and I could just get the food replaced which I didn't want to do since it was messed up food in my opinion. I ended up driving to a different taco time . When I called Monday the manager on duty informed me that they can only replace my order and would not refund it even though I left most of my order there. I initially took my tacos in BECAUse it's what I noticed was messed up right away. They didn't want to refund me so i Ieft. we have called the health department and corporate taco time about this experience and have a refund on the way. Corporate taco time customer relations has advised us to not return to this location, so I advise you guys to not return to this location either. And yes they are more that other locations, and it seems in my opinion to be smaller portions and greasier food than at other locations. Just drive past this place and eat somewhere else, any other taco time in the northwest will be better, even a taco truck would be better than eating at this location...

9/2/23 1st time i buy' in here. I ordered total of $26. 2 Crisp Burrito (Meat aChicken) and 1 Classic Chicken Burrito.

That day also is the day that i made a refund. but the guy who i talked to he didnt give any money in hand but he said he's going to return the money to my bank, and he is returning the charge for crisp burrito for total of 2. for apologizing.. and said "once u ddnt received anything by Monday u can call here." (i forgot to ask his name)

so when i tried to call 9/10/23, the phone is not ringing. me and my husband went to the store, at drive thru. But the lady in there, said "she dont have any rights to make any refund or so , which i respect that, and she get my info, and let the manager/Gmanager know about that. But still NOTHING! ( i forgot also to get her name) 😔

i dont wanna go back and fourth and waste gas for Nothing. FYI. i lost my receipt but i can show my bank summary, that i didnt received any money back. and the pictures below of proof that i am asking for a refund. Hopefully the owner of this Tacotime location recognize my complain. i also...

Update, it's been approximately 2 years since my last visit I was less than impressed then; the review of that visit is below; I'm editing now to state that upon my last visit; currently my day yesterday; just about Halloween 2018, I enjoyed my two soft tacos, they were of expected size and portions to receive from from Taco Time not a "Taco Bell" it has been a refreshing and enjoyable experience I hope to have again from this location and is the quality I I have come to expect from this restaurant, especially when compared to a strip of fast food chains all nextdoor.

First off, I am a great fan of taco time, and love the food, that being said. I ordered two soft taco meals and received two of the smallest tacos I have ever seen, they were, maybe, 5 inches long and , generously, 1.5 inches in diameter. This is the the most I have ever spent on food, at $19.69, for a great letdown on some of the best tasting "fast food" in the now in realalistic portion size, at maybe 1/3 the old taco size. Thanks to this visit I will not return...
