Oly Dog House — Local services in Auburn

I have been here numerous times over the years and even have met the owner. Some reason I have never written a review until now. The reason I am doing it now was foe poor service. Usually, they will toast the bun, actually every time I have been here they have toasted the bun. I got a Red hot with grilled onions, I notice he didn't grill the bun and I called him on it, he at first said the onions were grilled. I said, " no the bun". He said he did a little. I did notice some grill mars on the outside of the bun, but when I recieved it, it was still cold to the touch and obviously not toasted one bit.

Nothing better then eating a hot dog with an cold bun, thanks, won't eat there again with same employee..

Edit after reply: lol, It was cold to the touch, and the inside of the bun was not even toasted, along with the ouside, although it had grill marks. I am pretty sure I saw you take the bun out of the bag and open it up and put the dog onto the bun. As that is why I asked at first. Having marks does not make it toasted.

I have been coming here since they opened and today was the last time for me. I absolutely LOVE hot dogs and when I saw they opened here at my local Lowes I was ecstatic! My favorite dog is a chili cheese and have been getting them here from day one, but today I was craving a chili cheese dog and walked up and ordered and it seemed like I disturbed the next guy who's been operating the stand, I say next guy because hes just one in a long lone who have been serving dogs since they opened, anyhow I told him I wanted a chili cheese dog and he pointed at the menu and barked "We don't sell chili cheese dogs", and I was confused because I have ALWAYS purchased a chili cheese dog from here. It doesn't seem possible that a hot dog stand would stop selling chili cheese dogs because they're a staple of the hot dog world but as he stated and seemed to be bothered that I asked, They Don't Sell Chili Cheese Dogs there (anymore). Good...

If you're looking for that diamond in the rough restaurant, try Sizzle Dogs. As far as the food goes, the dogs are excellent. The service, is outstanding and the location is easy to find and easy to get to. In fact, it makes going to the Auburn Lowe's worthwhile. Even though you won't get any type of customer service from the Auburn Lowe's or find anything you're looking for there, at least you will get a great meal in their parking lot. Another nice touch is that all the dogs are loaded anyway you want without extra cost. I really can't say enough good things about Sizzle Dogs. And even though I did take a star away in the atmosphere category, after all, it is located in the parking lot of Lowe's no less, I still must give Sizzle Dogs an overall score rating...
