Had a pretty poor experience here a couple times now since they've remodeled recently. Not sure where the fault lies, but order accuracy is always an issue so triple check your bags, be careful when ordering water, I have been charged multiple times $1.99 for a small ice water, and didn't notice the charge (one time "manager" even gave me 2 dollars cash after I paid with a card, and acted annoyed and as if I was dumb when I asked for the change because tax meant I paid more on my card.). One evening, around 9 or 10, waited 10 minutes or so behind 2 cars to he told that all they had was fried items that night, rudely, due to understaffing. I asked if I'd be able to do a fried chicken sandwich or something, and was told, "NO! I said ONLY FRIED ITEMS!" So I ordered tacos,(funny, I can get "tacos" but was scoffed at for asking for a "FRIED chicken sandwich) proceeded to wait another 10 min (no exaggeration),there was just the same two cars in front me, and when I finally received my fried tacos they were cold.
So they are not always bad here and even in my poor experiences not every aspect was a fail. However, out of the 10+ years I've patroned this jack in the box, the last couple months have fallen far short of the standards I've come to expect from not only this JITB, but all jack in the boxes. So soon as I got home I changed the baby’s diaper then went to eat and noticed I didn’t have any chicken nuggets they gave me a sirracha burger I hate sirracha sauce so i took it back they didngive me a receipt so I showed in my bank account that I purchased it and I had the burger with me un eatin. The Mexican woman that was supposed to be the manager laughed in my face and told I couldn’t get what I ordered and if I didn’t get out there drive thru they was calling the police. Read moreI had an issue with an online order, I used the app to order and went to the drive thru, they said that I have to come inside to get my food but I said I don’t want to leave my car. At first the young lady insisted I go inside in the lobby to pick up my meal and I said I don’t want to leave my car. She kind of gave me an attitude and said why am I making this difficult and at that point I just wanted to cancel my online order. The other guy said I have to go because there’s someone behind me and I asked him if he can bring the food in my car and he said yes. That would have worked better instead of the employees asking me to go inside. There’s a reason I choose the drive tru to begin with. Employees should be trained to offer bringing the food to my vehicle if the order is going to take a while instead of telling the customer to go inside and wait.
