Fogón Catracho — Restaurant in Auburndale

Part of me wants to be selfish, and not share our experience with Fogon Catracho, but I need this restaurant to be around for the rest of my life.

Food - Flavors of Honduras, with a great menu of cultural delights you would expect from a Honduran restaurant. The food was cooked incredibly, flavors were popping, and the presentation was that of a very lux meal.

Service - we came on a Saturday for lunch, and there was a steady flow of customers, being mostly full. The food came out in an expected time, and the staff checked in any time they didn't have their hands full. They were courteous and professional.

It was great to eat at this Honduras restaurant!

The owner/manager was wonderful!

For this table, it was breakfast time... At lunch time... But that was no issue! Honduras (not American) breakfast all day!

The tortilla had eggs, avocado, beans and special sauce! So tasty!

There were many fresh juices to select-+ watermelon appealed to me, and it was wonderful!

Service was great!

It's super clean!

The music is good, but not too loud!

The restaurant was small but had space for about 30 people to dine in. The food was served fast but the server took our plates to the bar to snatch photos of the dishes while we watched her. A little weird but I know they just must be excited about the dishes that they service.

The baliadas were missing some cheese but the flavors were good. Each of our dishes was served hot and each was delicious.

The server never offered more drinks but it’s ok, she seems like she’s still learning.
