BabyCakes Café — Restaurant in Augusta

This place was great. We got there close to the end of the day, but my friend and I enjoyed conversation with the owner mid the devouring of two cupcakes, Also, got a huge brownie that could feed a small village. It might be a little of the beaten path, just off Washington Road, but so worth the trip and the discovery. These cupcakes are delicious, flavorful, and moist. The frosting is next level good, sweet, but not in a cloying "teethache" way just the right amount of sweet and a great depth of flavor to it. Don't miss this place the next time you want a sweet treat. BTW, I didn't get a chance to check these other options out, but the owner also makes, chicken salad, seafood salad and other savory delights, I can't wait to go check those out too. And as if, that's not enough, she does flavored cheesecakes in a jar. I can't wait until my next trip to sample something else...

We had the pleasure of meeting Tiara when we walked in. She was so nice and helpful in deciding what to get for my daughter’s birthday party. I needed 17 cupcakes but she sells them by the dozen. I didn’t want to pay for another dozen and was very indecisive. Instead of trying to make a sale and being adamant about getting another dozen, she suggested I get a dozen from her and get some from a grocery store. She is also the sweetest! I had originally schedule for a pick up at 5:00 but forgot we had a soccer game and asked if it would be possible to pick it earlier and she made it happen. I love a business owner who cares about their customer and is willing to accommodate their customer to the best of their ability. Not to mention the cupcakes are gorgeous and delicious! Also, the peach cobbler is a must try!...

10/1/2022 update Picked up son's bday cake and cupcakes today. Gorgeous as always but unfortunately the cake did not survive the ride home. It definitely needed stabilizers with the height even though it was a small cake circumference wise. Will continue to get cupcakes from here because the taste and look are always great but cake has sunken in and dropped.

Original review 2nd time getting cupcakes. They are amazing. Owner is always professional and the taste speaks for itself. Will be my go-to place for cakes and cupcakes from now on.
