Captain D's — Restaurant in Augusta

Son and I walked in expecting the same level of fast fish as Long John Silver's... Ergo, fried, fast, salty. We were not expecting the smell. We definitely weren't expecting the rudeness. I spent $30 plus for food that my son wondered if we got chicken instead. The parking lot did not smell so awful. The parking lot has 7 vehicles parked in it, there was one worker behind the register who clearly did not want to be at work. There was one cook and he's who deserves the second star. He was pleasant, clearly there to earn his paycheck and not play on his phone. Give that man a raise and promotion to manage because this visit is the last visit the son and I will ever attempt trying out a new to us fast food place. Cleanliness: 5 stars for certain areas, 0 for mouths of employees. Location: convenient, with plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Attitude: Unfair to form an opinion based on the sheer difference between the two employees. Recommended: never in a million years would I subject anyone I know to this...

I hadn't been to this Captain D's in a long time. I'm always in the area but always eat at another local restaurant. My grandmother loved Captain D's and would often send me here to get her something to eat. I received some coupons for this restaurant in the mail so I decided to stop in one day. The time I came there wasn't a crowd or anything. Recently I dined at another Captain D's in the area and they are always slammed packed. So this was great that I didn't have to wait for people to leave to get a seat. The cashier was very friendly and took my order correctly and actually finishing my order before I could. I like that!!! The dining room area was clean and was ready to be dined in. The food didn't take long to come out and it was great. The corn on the cobb was piping hot I could hardly eat it. The only reason Im rating bc I had no choice…. If I want to share my experience I just encountered. When I entered the restaurant the cashier was sitting down in the lobby when she decide to get up she had an attitude and asked me and two others what we wanted. She was very disrespectful and rude. I asked her about a restroom and she said there is no public restroom. After I kept my composure bc of the nastiness that was being enforced. I ordered. Everyone else didn’t want anything. They changed their mind bc of the rudeness. She then stated to anyone if they wanted to step behind the counter as if she wanted to fight. She asked did we know her and what were we asking her for her name for. There was no name tag present so we don’t have her name she only gave us a nickname k slug or thug or something of the matter.
