Where do I start? Chose this place because we were traveling and thought the kids can get some energy out, eat and it's always clean.
We ordered with a person who walked up to us on line. I understand that's supposed to speed up the order but it ended up that the person was clueless as to how to enter our food. Lunch time is not the time to learn that. So then we had times of people pass us while she was trying to enter it. That was super awkward. And then when we were done we still had to wait in line to pay?
We get our order and notice 3 salads, we only ordered two. Also noticed that we ordered spicy chicken and got plain. We had reiterated that point 4 times before paying. Didn't get fries with a combo- but paid for it. And didn't get the additional ones on the order at all.
Went to ask for the 3rd salad .to be removed from the receipt. They did. But they didn't return the original receipt. So then when I asked for my fries they questioned me and I explained which cashier and manager just took it. And that I need to pay for an extra order. By then they could have offered them for having to deal with aj that but no I paid.
Went to the bathroom to change the baby. The changing station? DIRECTLY in front of the smaller stall door- there were two. It was busy (I mean when are they not at lunch time) so I felt rushed because unless you were super skinny fi couldn't get in or out without me putting up the changing table. Well that doesn't work to well. Instead they could put it to the left where the larger stall actually had a wall before the door is accessed.
So after changing the baby I need to go as well before continuing on with our roadtrip. People were coming in and leaving and I got pushed towards the wall. What wall you ask? Oh..... just the one with an AUTOMATIC HAND SANITIZER that turned on and went down my back. Are you kidding me? Right by the door where people stand to be out of the entering person's way? Who designed this bathroom?
..
I was so done.
Oh. And. Their play area was outside. Yup. In 90 something degree southern heat walk into a wall if humidity in the morning already kind of heat.
Oh and then there is the parking lot. Their employee stopped us from crossing the cross walk to let a car drive through..... we were already on the road crossing..... the car pulled up well afterwards and she seriously seemed us to backup. No. Pedestrians have the right of way and backing up sounds a bit dangerous? Either way it's tight and cars come from every direction... .....not well thought out.
What was I...

At 9:30 on a 1/17/18 my boyfriend and I walked up to this restaurant, as our hotel was only .4 miles away. Evidently if you walk in this town you're looked down apon, not in the beach town in Maryland that we're from, but whatever.
After noticing this guy walking around, talking to the employee's in a demeaning way, I made an assumption he was the owner. We ordered our carryout food and sat down to wait. I noticed they had some sugar at the condiments counter, went over and grabbed 10 packs to put two in my tea and to take the other 8 home. The owner walked over and began sly comments, oh are you going to put all that sugar on your salad!? With a face that just spoke smart a** and stated about how people steal their sugar and condiments, their toilet paper and just "shove everything they can in their purses" lol my boyfriend started to get mad with the constant banter about 10 SUGAR PACKS and said "would you like us to pay for them?" And the owner just laughed at us because he was only trying to cause a scene.
He didn't know that we recently owned, operated and sold a business and understand that that my 10 packs of sugar only cost 20 cents, also to add, CONDIMENTS ARE FREE. I said "we'll gladly pay the .20 cents for them", he replies with "I don't know if that's really how much is cost but I can look it up!" I returned the smart a* laugh because I actually know how much they cost. LITTLE MISS BUSINESS OWNER OVER HERE. At this point it was a hilarious game, the back and forth smart a* comments because sir you met your smart a** match. Mr tightwad, if you'd like to control how many condiments you release you should keep it behind the counter.
Just wanted everyone to know the loser that owns the business. Carlos was great and deserves a raise, I can bet he will never...
Read moreMy job ordered a catering order from this location. We ordered the Chik-fil-a sandwich box. Our sandwiches came with no pickles. I called the catering manager (Maggie, I believe) who explained that the pickles don't come on the sandwich, but they put pickles on the side. We did not receive any pickles or sauce on the side. Instead we had to eat dry chicken sandwiches which don't taste really good. The catering manager said she was sorry and would make a note to include pickles next time. Usually Chik Fil A is really good with righting their wrongs. This is a part of their exceptional customer service. I mentioned this to her and all she could say was what would you like me to do? She put me on hold and came back saying she would give me a free sandwich the next time I came however, we ordered 10+ sandwiches, all of which were dry with no pickles. I politely told Maggie that she could keep her free sandwich and I would be happy to write a review. She said O.K. and we got off the phone. Pickles may seem like a minor thing, but when you promote your company as having the ORIGINAL chicken sandwich which has only three components, you expect to have them all. It's like ordering a cheese pizza and only getting crust and cheese with no sauce. It really makes a difference. I can tell you this, since Popeyes debuted their new sandwich, the whole office has been debating which chicken sandwich is better and after the sandwiches and customer service we received today, we all agree Popeyes is the winner. I can live with the mistake of forgetting the pickles, but the lack of caring about our mediocre experience took the cake. I love Chik-Fil-A, not because of the food but because of their phenomenal service. I just...
