UPDATE: After eating here numerous times, the good food to bad ratio has definitely shown. The pizza has been getting considerably worse. Tonight was the straw that broke us. Flavor has went down but tonight our pizza was raw, cold and it was already out of the oven when we got there even though we were early. $17 for a pizza we could only stomach 2 pieces of and normally would finish. Not sure what's changed but I'd change it back! I'll still keep a 3 for the employees Foods great! People are friendly. Very pricey pizza and only lg or extra lg but its delicious. Accuracy and speed would improve if they'd upgrade from squares of paper but all and all they get it done. Only complaint is a burnt (I mean black) sandwich I received one time I didn't have time to take back. I still recommended them as a great option for a good new york style pizza in Augusta which is hard to find. (Being from NY area)

This place is not sanitary! The cook was on his phone in between pizzas and not washing his hands. Your phone holds more bacteria than a toilet! He also grabbed the mop and broom and money from customers, checked his phone again and went back to making a pizza without washing his hands. This is gross and can get customers sick! I like the pizza here, but can't support a business that doesn't take these concerns seriously. I was going to email management about these issues first, but there is no email or number to management on their website, which also makes me believe that they don't take concerns serious because there's no way but a review to voice your concerns.

Called in an order last night for five stromboli's and was told that the wait time was an hour and fifteen minutes after I was hung up on twice. Get there, pay and take the box which should be hot on the bottom, but it wasn't. Should have taken it back in right then, but my kids were hungry. Get to the house and these things were not hot at all and were not cooked all the way. Also, they didn't look too good either. This is the second time in a row that I've had to deal with undercooked food from this place. I live over three hours away and try to come here every time I'm in town to visit. Won't waste my time or money again.

If IDGAF was a pizza restaurant Roma’s Pizza would be it!! I’m an old school Roma’s pizza lover from back in the day when they were in the Regency Mall. I’ve always loved their pizza! I even rocked with them when they moved from the mall to Wrightsboro Road and then when they moved to Walton Way Extension on Agerton Lane. I’ve been living in Florida for 20 years now and was in Augusta visiting family and broke my diet just to have a taste of yesterday and Roma’s pizza was what I wanted.

Unfortunately, I WILL NEVER EVER patronize Roma’s again!! Have you ever eaten something that was so bad that when you got finished you felt guilt for eating it, because it really belonged in the trash?

I placed an online order from my hotel room and gave the restaurant ample time to prepare my order. I ordered the Appetizer sampler which consists of 3 each; meatballs, fried ravioli, cheese sticks, and bone-in wings, a slice of deluxe, and I needed 2 more cents to be able to order online, so I ordered a chocolate cannoli.

When I arrived the guy at the counter knows NOTHING about my order. I tell him what I ordered, says he’ll get it ready, just need to heat the pizza slice. I get out to the car and check my order, no meatballs or cannoli. I go back in. A different guy waits on me. I tell him what’s missing from the sampler along with the cannoli. He never says a word!

I get my order back to the car I go and check. Basically the meatballs were just thrown in. I get back to the hotel, the food isn’t even hot, nor is the slice of pizza. I couldn’t eat ANY of the cheese sticks and if you’re wondering why, look at the photo - they were cooked last week!! The meatballs, I could’ve put someone’s eye out if I hit they with them. They were hard as rocks!! The ravioli was barely edible and missing and 90% of its filling. The wings - nothing special at all. I had to heat the pizza slice. The toppings were cooked but since it wasn’t heated properly in the pizza oven, the cheese just sat on top. The slice looked like it was just pulled from the refrigerator. And there was so much soot on the bottom of the slice that it was ridiculous. They must NEVER clean out the pizza oven!!

I can’t tell you how disappointed and disgusted I was!! I threw away most of the food. The cannoli was soft and cold. I didn’t even bother. It went straight in the trash. I would’ve rather have given the $30.88 to someone on the street than this damned place.

Roma’s had the best pizza back in the day but that day has come and gone!! NEVER AGAIN and I’ll tell everybody I know to never set foot in that place.

As far as the staff - they don’t give a damn!! There’s no one there who takes pride in what they do nor who they represent!! I don’t know who owns this place cause it can’t be a relative of the original owners, if so - they’ve failed their forefathers!

Do yourself a favor and get a Little Caesar’s pizza! And BTW, I hate Little Caesars, but I’d rather eat anything they have than the crap that’s coming out of...

TERRIBLE customer service is an understatement. I no longer live here, but was in town and this used to be the best pizza in the area. My parents ordered online and I agreed to pick it up. I get there about 6:30, which is 45 mins after they placed an online order. I ask for the order and the guy in the back says, "Oh yeah, we had to cancel that order bc we didn't have the ingredients to Make it." I ask what was missing and he says the salami. We ordered 2 pizzas and 1 ingredient on 1 of them was salami. I ask why he didn't make the other pizza without salami. He says that's not how the system works; it voids the order and refunds the money when they can't make it. Ok, that's fine, I get it. Problem-solving isn't for everyone. I say it's all good, I'll just re-order it here with whatever ingredients you do have and pay now. Then the guy at the register says "We're not making a whole pizza. We're about to close." Now i'm getting upset and explain that the sign on the door says you close at 9. He says they're closing 2 hours early bc they only have 2 people , which somehow made sense in his simple head. I then ask why didn't you call them before you voided their order to explain about the ingredients, seeing how you knew you were closing early. Register clown responds "Bc thats not our job". Now im heated. So I walked out before I said something that would get me banned from this place for life and typed up this review in my car. In the future, I will avoid ordering online, call ahead to make sure there are no local amendments to the schedule, confirm if they need me to grab any ingredients on the way, and bring cooking supplies in case the employees decide they're not doing certain aspects...

Worst experience ever!! We've been coming there for many years and our experience is usually great, but not today! My son just moved back home after 14 years gone in the military, Roma's has always been a favorite of his since he was a kid, so I decided to surprise him with dinner. I placed the order online and was originally given 30-40 min wait time, but received a message it was taking longer than expected, so I waited the extra time and went to the store to pick up. Upon arrival I was told the pizza wasn't ready, it had already been over an hour. While I waited a couple came in ordered their food and 10 minutes later they had their pizza. Which made me upset and when I asked how that happened, nobody seemed to know. I was told that they don't cook the pizza so they don't know why it was taking that long. I asked for a manager and a refund and was told they had no manager there and nobody seemed to know what the hell was going on! I asked for the managers number and was told no and that I could come up there Monday to talk to the manager. No refund , no apologies. But then I get home with the pizza and it's not even cooked! I had to put it in the oven and cook it before we could eat! I run my own kitchen and I would be ashamed if my staff acted that way! I would never allow a guest in my restaurant to walk out angry! Will not be going back any time soon and I'll make sure I spread the word about sorry this restaurant...
