Disappointed and Frustrated: Sleep Number Beds Fail to Deliver, Customer Service Falls Short
As a long-time customer of Sleep Number, I am deeply disappointed by the recent experience with their products and customer service. After purchasing a Sleep Number bed with high hopes of a comfortable and customizable sleeping experience, I have been let down by consistent malfunctions and a lack of effective support from the company.
From the outset, the bed failed to function as advertised, with the adjustable settings proving inconsistent and unreliable. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to Sleep Number's customer service, I have encountered a frustrating lack of assistance. While the company did send out technicians to address the issues, the solutions provided were temporary at best, and the problems persisted.
The inability of Sleep Number to effectively remedy these issues has left me feeling ignored and undervalued as a customer. The repeated visits from technicians, all resulting in temporary fixes, have been a source of great frustration, and the lack of a permanent solution has significantly impacted the quality of my sleep and overall satisfaction with the product.
Furthermore, the lack of responsiveness and effective support from Sleep Number's customer service team has only exacerbated my dissatisfaction. It is deeply disappointing to invest in a product that fails to meet expectations and to receive such inadequate support when seeking resolution.
In conclusion, my experience with Sleep Number beds has been marred by consistent malfunctions and a profound lack of effective customer service. As a loyal customer, I had hoped for a reliable and comfortable sleeping solution, but instead, I find myself deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned. I urge Sleep Number to take proactive steps to address these issues and provide the level of service and product reliability that their customers deserve. Read moreI waited a few months to provide an accurate review of the bed. This is my single biggest regret purchasing a sleep number bed. Overall, I feel beat up in this bed and now sleeps in my guest bedroom. I would not suggest you buy the bed. Regardless if you return the mattress, you're out of thousands of dollars Just on the base alone. From the very 1st week, I have had Tech after Tech coming out to service a "brand new" bed that was not actually NEW. Discover there were stains on the mattress that clearly someone had did a great job cleaning but standing in the right place revealed them. Of course that was my word against theirs. Issues after issue with the bed not inflating and deflating to your desired number setting. Tech after tech said there's nothing wrong with the base, its the mattress. The mattress rolls you in the middle and you can't sleep because you're fighting against gravity. The first bed was returned. AGAIN STUCK WITH THE BASE but no worries because after numerous service calls and techs coming out, the Issue was the bed and not the base (So they said). The bed was returned & replaced. I would Like to Say the rolling is only with the split mattress but that would be A LIE. After replacing the mattress and having the same issue, I went to the location and was told directly by an employee that the rolling is a common issue and complaint. SO BUYER BEWARE. This was told after the first bed was replaced and you only get ONE replacement so though I no longer have a split mattress, I have the same issues with the bed and the base. The bed adjust on its on when no one is even in the bed. I have no clue what number setting it's on because it adjust itself with the (responsive air OFF). Read moreI love my sleep number bed, but the company and this store in particular is worthless. They gave the wrong phone number to the delivery guys, who failed to contact my email or my mailing address, both of which they had correct. It took them a month longer than it should have to get the bed because, even though it was their mistake, I had to go to the back of the line. They told me I would get my 1st bill after a month I received the bed, but a month goes by and no bill. I went to the store and they said it was no big deal because corporate gets backed up sometimes. I called customer service, who transferred me to another company that handles billing, which once again, Sleep Number failed at. I wind up getting transferred to a fertilizer company. I had to call that bank myself, only to find out, Sleep Number Augusta never gave them my mailing address. You may be thinking, "Greg, are you sure you gave it to them?" I am, because I got a customer care packet from the Augusta store, and that was also the only address the delivery guys had. If it weren't for the wonderful sleep my weary body had, I would have returned it long ago.
