Subway — Restaurant in Augusta

I was in town for a visit and this was the second Subway I had visited that night..the first one I went to that night about 5 mi away I went in saw a chair and a rope up across in one section there where the restrooms were located, and I asked the girl behind the counter if that area towards the restrooms was closed and she says yes once it gets dark we close that section I said okay well how do I wash my hands my hands are filthy and I need to eat and I need to wash my hands before I eat she says sorry you can't so I walked out of that location and went to this location...

Server at this location was excellent she was new she knew what she was doing she took my order after finishing the two that were in front of me, fix my sandwich to my likings which is lots of vegetables in other words I like my sandwich to sometimes look like a salad on bread LOL so I walked over and sat down at one of the tables got out my book had my bottle of water started reading while I ate there was no rush but right after she finished my order the phone went crazy with call in and Uber deliver orders and she handled them like a pro while other people that came in after those phone orders started pouring in patiently waited... I was so satisfied with the service and the quality that two days later I was back in there and had the same thing again sat in the same chair read some more of my book while I ate...

And I have one concern, why did Subway get away from there 132nd of an inch sliced ham and go to that shaved ham like what they've got in the grocery store that's so thin you can read the newspaper through it and then raise the cost of the sandwich by a little bit and go from eight slices of ham down to six slices of paper thin that you can read through him?? So because of that little change my rating will not be a perfect number but it will...

I love me some Subway, BUT after experiencing and working in 3 of their stores; it's a whole nother level. The management is very unprofessional, and customers only see the good side(sometimes) I went to pick up my last check a week ago, and almost got assaulted by one of the employees (check your cameras 4/18/19). This incident happened over on Mike Padgett Subway location ( don't go there either). I have worked at 3 different stores and they all need help!!!

I hope someone from corporate see this review. Y'all seriously need to check on your Subway Station stores in the Augusta, GA area. Mainly Washington Rd, Mike Padgett Hwy and Wrightsboro Rd.

Your management and some staff rubbing your stores blind, and expecting the rest of us to pay it back🤔 I don't think that was stated in my contract. The employees checks are bouncing, and their banks aren't allowing them to cash anymore "Subway checks". Walmart hadn't caught on, because that's where I been going. But it's getting weird and crazy.

Health inspectors have complained, and threaten to close some of the stores down due to them not being cleaned, and full of bugs! I understand you may have them, but at a minimum when you talking about food.

I could go on and on, but just something for y'all to think about. I don't like the unprofessional, and they way food is being prep by staff members! I would only eat sandwiches I made. Ive gotten normous of compliments (and my perfection bell keeps ringing), but MANAGEMENT gets jealous and want to fire you through a text message 🤔 Is that a new at will law in GA?

Just watch every move they make when making your sandwitches. It's some really messed up people in the world.

I spoke to ALEX on Saturday, 9/16/24 at the 2834 Washington Rd Subway. I ordered the Subway Sandwich Platter that includes 5 sandwiches. I was ordering hot sandwiches so Alex said he would make them when I arrived after church so that they would still be warm when I got to the party. When I arrived Sunday, he had all the vegetables on the side. I asked if I could order an additional meatball sub just to be sure there was enough. Alex proceeded to prepare my subs as I ran next door to Publix to pickup the birthday cake for the 50th football birthday party I was bringing the food to. When we got to the party, there was 2 -2 “ pieces of meat on most sandwiches . The rest was bread . Alex was so nice and so accommodating that I gave him a $10 tip. So my bill for these lame subs was $88. I feel so taken advantage of. If I stood over him and watched him make these sandwiches I would have insisted there be more meat. I trusted him. As it turns out, the number listed on subways web site is Alex’s cell phone. So as I have tried to call him the last two days to discuss this, he does not answere.
