This establishment was visited on a Friday afternoon/evening. The restaurant was not that busy although there was one large party (there were at least 6 waitstaff hanging out). The chairs were uncomfortable and the environment had a lot to be desired. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant right behind the large party (there was no way for my husband to sit across from me because we were so close to the other table). There was a waiter robot coasting around that was playing techo/electronic music that didn't fit the environment at all. I also wondered if the people who had their food delivered by this device tipped as they retrieved their dishes themselves?
I do not feel like the waiter cared that we were there, very unattentive.
The salsa and chips were definitely store bought. I could tell the salsa came from a jar. The chips were not even warmed.
The Queso special dip (bed of black beans topped with shredded chicken, cheese sauce, pico de gallo and guacamole $9.95) was not a dip but soup (extremely watery). There was no guacamole, barely any beans and I was so upset at the wateriness of the "dip" (I needed a spoon to get anything besides the chicken-which I was not provide with)
I got Jose's special (a bed of rice topped with shredded chicken, grilled onions and cheese sauce $10.95). Where was the rice? The shredded chicken was simply boiled chicken-no taste- and the onions were definitely not grilled-they were raw! Didn't see any cheese sauce so I dumped the soup special queso dip into it. Dumping the "queso dip" and Jose's special together made it somewhat edible but it was only truly edible when I came home and added cheese, chips and pico de gallo
My husband had the pick 2 dinner with a beef enchilada and a stuffed poblano pepper. He stated that while the taste was okay the pepper was "dead" and hard to cut. I observed the pepper being very limp like it was cooked...
Read moreI was here once before and the same thing happened, although I thought maybe it was a fluke, although it is not.
Came in as a single person looking to grab some lunch as I do not live in the area. Food is ok, nothing to brag about although tolerable. Waiting minimum 20 minutes just to even be acknowledged after I sit down when many more people come in, sit down, get their drinks and meals while I'm still waiting for someone to take my drink order.
I unfortunately had to yell across the room to be acknowledged, to put in my drink order and wait another 20 just to order lunch.
Finally, after I get my lunch, no one checks on me and I have to vet someone's attention just to get the check.
They over charged me and the person kept going on about a tip. I told them I will not be giving a tip due to the ignorance of not even acknowledging me. I didn't even get a straw for my tea that I eventually got.
They were too worried about people with 2 or more people when they don't realize that I'm a huge tipper. They messed up on strike 2 and their won't be a strike 3 cuz I'm out. Not worth my time,...
Read moreI ordered from them on DoorDash a couple nights ago and they did everything I asked...I wanted 3 soft tacos, no lettuce, add tomatoes and a cheese dip with extra salsa. Order shows up, tacos are perfect, cheese dip and two salsas...no complaints whatsoever, though I did realize 3 tacos is too much for me...so tonight I place the same exact order...the way their menu is on Doordash you can’t just get two tacos from what I see... so I placed the same order as before but under the cheese dip I asked for them to give me 3 salsas, and then under tacos I said I only wanted 2 tacos even though I was paying for 3 with no lettuce, ground beef and cheese only... and add tomatoes... that the extra salsas I requested would balance with the missing taco... my order showed up and they got my two tacos and my three salsas... but no cheese dip and my tacos had lettuce on them. Please pay attention when reading/making the order. Especially with a delivery service... A. I’m not going to make DoorDash go back and fix it... B. Even if I would get them to, I wouldn’t want it anymore by the time...
