Waffle House — Restaurant in Augusta

I walked in cheerfully greeting the cook and the only waitress good morning. They looked at me like "wth was I doing there" it was 6 a.m. I even repeated my GM then was greeted coldly GM by waitress Mich. I ask for coffee, scattered hb with onions and over easy eggs. Eggs almost over hard and hb not scattered. Returned eggs, came back still not over easy but a little better. At that point coffee cup was empty and set at edge, few minutes later I put cream and sugar in cup, in front of Mich doing silverware in front of me still didn't get a refill for 15 minutes later. When I was cashing out I mentioned when I use to wait tables I got better tips when I was more friendly and attentive to my customers. Mich's excuse, we were short handed. This was the first time I've been out to eat in months besides picking up to go orders. I was kinda shocked at how little seating there was, even though I've read the governor's rules for restaurants to reopen; this was the first time I've actually seen them in practice. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger deluxe platter and, even though it took a few minutes longer than usual for a Waffle House, it was delicious! And I had the perfect level of attention: I was filling out some forms for a new doctor's office then reading on my tablet and really appreciated not being bothered. As soon as a couple came in a I realized they were going to need a booth, I finished my paperwork and paid, leaving a generous tip. It was a very good visit to the Awful Waffle and everyone should tip those waitresses...

My friend and I went to have lunch at this particular establishment. The cook name was Trell and we had the waitress Heather. Heather was nice. I ordered chicken sandwich. And she ordered chicken sandwich and hash brown. Our chicken sandwiches was not done all the way. The thick parts was very rubbery. We sent it back the first time. Trell just threw it on the grill and did not tend to it. Heather brought it back to us. My friend chicken still was not how she wished it to be. Upon leaving Heather did state she was sorry and she tried to get him to cook it right but he wouldn't. I would not recommend anyone to go to this place when that grill cook Trell is working.
