Dear Manager: I would like to bring to your attention a matter of concern regarding the restroom facilities at your Krystal location on Walton Way in Augusta, GA.
For the past ten days, the restrooms at this location have been blocked off by tables with a handwritten sign stating “Out of Order,” making them inaccessible to the general public, including individuals with disabilities. This situation has caused significant inconvenience to your patrons and raises concerns about compliance with local and state regulations.
As you may be aware, the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Food Service Regulations (Chapter 511-6-1-.07) mandate that restrooms must be accessible to both employees and customers, ensuring they are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition. Additionally, the Augusta-Richmond County Code of Ordinances (Title 7: Buildings and Construction) includes provisions for public accessibility, ensuring that restrooms in public establishments like restaurants are accessible to all patrons.
Furthermore, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Standards for Accessible Design require that public restrooms be accessible to individuals with disabilities, including features like accessible stalls and appropriate signage.
The current situation at your restaurant may be in violation of these regulations, which could potentially lead to penalties or other enforcement actions. Therefore, I kindly urge you to address this issue promptly to ensure compliance with the relevant health and safety standards and to provide a better experience for all your customers.
Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to seeing the necessary improvements...
Read moreMy wife and I were passing through and saw Krystal's restaurant. One of the places I wanted to go to. Now inside the people were friendly but I didn't eat there and what happened made me not want to visit another Krystal restaurant. The place inside was dingy plus there was tile missing in the ceiling. What got me was when I went to the bathroom and the toilet seat was broken. Made it worse when the cook walked of the bathroom and didn't wash his hands. I know because I was standing near the bathroom. I heard the toilet flush but didn't hear the sink come on plus when I looked at the sink it was dry. I got my wife before she ordered and politely left. I know this is harsh but I myself is a restaurant manager and the disheartening thing about this incident is that I wanted to invest in the Krystal restaurant franchise and bring their...
Read moreI come here after 1 a.m. mostly, like last night. I get hungry a lot of times late at night and this place helps my cravings. I come here often and never had a problem with the service here. Sometimes it's really crowded but the employees handle it well. I have several favorites here. I go back and forth as far as what I eat all the time. One day it will be cheese Krystals, another it might be the Chiks, or Chili Cheese pups. Whatever it is, it's hot and fresh. I'm mad that they discontinued the Spicy Chiks, those were my absolute favorite!!! Maybe they will bring them back one day. I also loved the waffle fries when they had them. They had just the right amount of firmness to them. The tea is also really good here. They have a new formula and it's great. So when the hunger monster attacks me at night this place will come to...
