Worst experience I have had at a restaurant. My daughter and my mother and I decided to go and get dinner. They got to the restaurant about 20 minutes before me. When I got to the table, they had chips and salsa and their drinks. I arrived and sat at the table for 38 minutes, during that entire time our waiter Zacharia attended to every table around us but never as much as said hello to me, never took a drink order, and never came back to the table. The manager happened to be walking around talking to people he went to one table and one table only. They complained that their order had not been taken when they had been there all of about 15 minutes. The manager goes and gets the waiter to take their order but does not check with any of the other six tables who have also been waiting and all came after us. We waited about another 10 minutes watching the waiter sit there staring at the TV laughing to himself when we finally decided to get up and leave. I walked past the manager (James,) who just stared at me I told him we would be leaving . He did not ask what the problem was he did not say he was sorry nothing. He got on his walkie-talkie and stared at me. It wasn’t until we were already outside the building that he then came out and said that he could get us taken care of now. By that time, my mother had already left and we were walking to our car. The worst service I have ever seen. A waiter who did nothing and a manager who did just as little when being informed. For future reference James, when you go to one table and you find out they are the last customer in and they are not happy… You should probably check with all of the other tables that were there way before them . When a customer tells you they are having an issue you should not just stare at them like a deer in the headlights but start with “I’m sorry about that” and asking what happened. I will be calling corporate. Hopefully we have a better experience at the Chili’s we are now at halfway across town after a wasted hour and a half that should have easily included our order, delivery of food, and payment. Ridiculous for a chain...
Read moreWell for starters I really love coming to this Chili's in particular just because of the architecture. But let's be honest, first impressions is anything and everything. The food was not the issue Chili's has been my favorite spot since the early 2000s. Southwest egg rolls is my absolute favorite!
My problem the greeter looked at us when we walked in turned her back over a minute, rolling her eyes, not using her active listening skills, it simply just had a little bad attitude. She looked at all of us two babies. I told her at the door 4 and 2 boosters. Let's talk about how she only brought one booster seat. So since she have to walk back up. She rolled her eyes all catty with the PMS face. I just said hey" since you're going back up there can I please get to high chairs instead." Amongst all the conversations and loudness everybody heard me except for her.. she brought back one high chair.😂🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ I looked at her dead in her eye and I said there's two babies here. I need another one. Then she just brings back a booster seat 😂😆 SMH I don't know what her deal was but she definitely shouldn't be the one out the door greeting people with the attitude or maybe it was because we are black. She instantly got an attitude. But just because of that. If I see her at the door of the next time I come in the evening I'm taking my family right across the fuzzy's tacos 😂 I have a low tolerance especially when you got teenagers and two babies for any adult that wants to be on the BS. For the amount of food we ordered and the bill that came back in my years that I've spent money in this company they should come up with the routine of how people greet at the door. And if they don't like their job they need to weed those little negative energies out of there. I've worked in the industry too long to not know what it takes to get satisfaction she don't even know if we were secret shoppers/or surveyors you never know who's going to walk through your door so get rid of her! If I had to deal with her the entire time definitely one star on the customer service but thanks speedy team in the back covered all...
Read moreI have never left a restaurant without even getting the chance to order a meal We ordered chips and guacamole two Iced teas and a water that was the appetizer within about 20 minutes six or seven tables filled up. We waited for 35 minutes for Zacariah to never take our order. Then the manager James went to the booth to the right of.our table and asked them how it was going, mind you they came at least 15 minutes after us. They said they were waiting on their drinks but hadnt placed their order, the manager then says he could take the order goes in the kitchen and signals zach to go take the order...um are you for real? The manager doesnt ask any other table he just disappears. Zach then goes ànd seats another party yet still hasnt taken our order. We got up and left. What kind of chain are you running where its okay to seat people and not ever come back to take an order. I have NEVER been blatantly ignored by a waiter or manager EVER until today. Clearly staff is on drugs and not all there. Shame on you James for not even doing the bare minimum to appease your customers. Needless to say we went across town to another chilis and were treated with nothing but professionalism and attentiveness. The bill was 61 something and the waitress received at 20$ tip. Thank you to the Chili's off Alameda across from the town center mall for actually caring about your customers. I will not be back to the chilis closer to home and if james or zach is working I would advise turning around and leaving. Their lack of everything is honestly disgusting and embarrassing! Thanks for wasting 42...
