Very busy Sunday and they have great business and extremely helpful and polite customers and staff. I was doing a carry out order. I had many just bad things happening at once. Almost ran out of gas. Phone was about to go dead and no cord in my car. And yet the customers were so very understanding and polite and let me go ahead. And I just didn't want anyone missing their Sunday Chicken. And was against all the odds. I'm nearly 60 years old. And the absolute wonderful after church crowd in this store. The above and beyond politeness and just kind ei?women working and waiting and letting this old white man cut ahead. First my apologies for my own Ill preparedness and interrupting all the others as I did. Secondly, People can say or believe what they will. But here in Denver Colorado which I've called home for thirty years now. Still and always there's a harmony to us older folk that transcends any of today's fast impolite hurried, worried and ever so indifference that prevails and permeates so much in society. This is my example of getting along. Being good citizens and respectful of one another and where there's no difference when all anybody wants is there Sunday Fried Chicken. To me, that's the America I love. That's the Denver I know. that's the Colorado and what was common place my entire life. Yes, there's so much wrong in the world. But it's perspective. It's respect. It's common courtesy and well. Simply out. We need to keep doing random acts of kindness. And be as everyone there was. It's not so difficult. It's actually just neighborly and the right thing to do. So five stars to the hard working employee's , five stars to the wonderful women who let me cut in front. My apologies again. And is it that difficult for us all to remember. Out of many, one? We all want som great chicken, a little TLC, understanding, and well, I'll go along all week with that good will in my daily life and keep passing it along. So shouldn't we all. What a great reaffirmation. We all are on the same team. Maybe different positions or some are coaches, some cheer leaders. But we are all on the same team here. Or we can be. We should be. And it's such a beautiful world when we just show others a little love along the way. In my humble opinion. Definitely a great place for Chicken and the I do not know, community. Thanks for the fine treatment to a stranger . Very blessed . Thank you all. I'll be back! And if you're wanting Sunday Fried Chicken. well, Go here. You won't find any fancy or bull. But good fried...
Read moreIn my personal experience.. it's just how I rate this place. Colorado Springs does not have a Church's Chicken..but I'd love to see one placed here..only to see if it would be better kept..food and customer service would be at an all time high. I know about this place because of living down south for so many years..and when you've had good food served hot all the time..fresh biscuits and great customer service....clean stores and restrooms.. you'd think it would be the same somewhere else..but unfortunately not. I travel here from time to time because my child loves to eat here and he doesn't get the chance to go here.. it's not like in the South. Every time we go..we hope to find it different..at least hit chicken or something fresh..most of the time it's only the fries that are hot..shh..the chicken is always over fried..the biscuits seemed to be setting out too long..and the customer service..let me tell you..when you walk in..they look at you.. keep doing what they are " NOT REALLY" doing and they make you wait until they're ready to take your order..then they give you one thing hot in your bag which would be the fries..by the time you open your bag.. it's too late.. then you're upset because you got treated so poorly and the food is not what it seems. But my Son likes to come because the Springs don't have one. I want to be wowed one time..I never seem to get that. Maybe I'd just stick with KFC and call Church's Chicken a quit. I'd love to see others opinions on how they were treated here.. especially if you have come from a long distance. This place could definitely use better management and employees..but I'm just one unsatisfied occasional customer. This is only MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE.. you can make or have your own decision. Also for the price my Son paid for the 3 of us..so not worth getting food that is not up to par. We still eat it because many people all over the world are hungry or homeless. We think about this and we were raised to be grateful for everything we have so we don't throw food in the trash..we still eat and...
Read morePay attention to your receipt and debit card. When I went through the drive-through, she ran my card, and I immediately got confirmation on my phone, which was a difference. I brought it to both of their attention. They told me I need to check with my bank because they only charged me what the receipt says, but you can see what was taken from my account. They said they had nothing to do with that. Something is wrong. They commented that it happened to another person, so why would that be my bank's fault? They need to check whatever credit card machine they use, as it still has not been corrected on my end $55 for an eight-piece family meal and some sides are ridiculous, so to be charged $12 extra It's not OK The younger girl was more understanding, but the older lady working there was talking stuff while making my order, as if it was my fault. Trying to attach receipts, I will call a corporate office if this is not corrected by the end of the day, or maybe even send it to a news source. People need to be aware of what’s happening with...
