JJ's Place — Restaurant in Aurora

This place appears to be geared more towards their “regulars”. It was annoyingly loud and the vibe was very PBR type place even though it is in the middle of a city. My wife and friends were a little uncomfortable to be honest. Seating was abysmal next to the pool tables. Lots of people had “saved” tables with bags or pool cues. The food was ok. The wings were a little on the small and dry side. The fries were actually pretty great. The reuben was missing sauce and had a lot less cheese than I would have liked. There were only two people it looked like an and they were crazy. I like to give places a second chance. So I will go back on a different day and hope for the best. If it is better I will update my review.

Update: Much better the second time. Actually it was way better. The waitress said we came on a poker night and it does get a little crazy. The second time the bar was actually very quiet and...

Me and my wife went here to check the place out. We go to the sister bars very often and love those places very much however JJ'S Place has to be the worst experience we have ever had . We ordered a Coke an appetizer and we each ordered a plate of food. After about 30 mins of only receiving a water a coke and our appetizer . The waitress finally came overto our table and asked. Is there anything else I can get you? Um yeah the food we ordered and or other drink. She then said we have had to much! To much what? Water and appetizers? We can't even get the food or the one beer that was ordered? The staff is slow and to busy for customers and obviously don't want to serve anyone or do there jobs. This place is great looking inside but the employees are absolutely worthless they are making this places complete dump. So in the end JJ's isn't the place for you try one of their sister bars you'll be way...

This was my 3rd or 4th time here and went at 1pm for wing Wednesday. I ordered 12 wings and rings. The bar was almost completely full but I was 1 of only 2 tables. The waitress was very friendly and my food came out in about 5 minutes. It was hot and fresh but the wings had next to no sauce at all. I would have asked for sauce because they were so dry but no one came over to check on me and the 30 minutes I was there the bartender did atleast 2 shots with the folks at the bar which is fine but my waitress was sitting at the end of the bar as well watching the show. After no drink refill, no "hows your meal and no "heres you check when your ready". I watched my waitress go out on the patio, I assume to smoke, I left cash on the table (guessing at my tab) along with the wings and left. Staff is friendly but not...
