Piramides – Where the Portions Are Huge and they are always Consistent We hadn’t been to Piramides in a while, but while in the neighborhood, we figured why not pop in and see if they’re still serving up the same goodness? Answer: Yes. Yes, they are. This place has always been consistently solid, no weird surprises, no “what happened to the salsa?” moments. Just good food, great people, and the kind of service that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s been a hot minute since your last visit. We were greeted with smiles, seated right away, and taken care of from start to finish. The drinks were delicious (seriously, their margaritas do not mess around), and the food? As satisfying as ever. You won’t leave hungry, trust me. The portions are generous, as they are at most good Mexican spots. If you’re in the Aurora area and craving something tasty, friendly, and reliable, give Piramides a shot. They’ve got the flavor, the service, and the drinks to back it up. Just bring an appetite—and maybe some stretchy pants.

Love the food the service from the woman who owns this place is poor af absolutely no customer service for getting the order wrong that I order All the time so much so that the one of the gentlemen waiters know my exact order and repeats it to me as soon as I walk in. I tell her my order is wrong and to take off what is wrong and she says noooo you already ordered it like are you serious I just won’t get the food then and as I was walking out the door she’s gonna say don’t call again. Like excuse me ma’am trust me I will never get service from your business again. Mind you I’ve been coming here for the passed 3 years just goofy!

Good Mexican restaurant with an extensive menu. The Camarones Rellenos were stuffed with cheese, wrapped in bacon and served with rice and refried beans. The salad with avocado, tomato and orange slices was refreshing. The dish was tasty and very filling. The salsa here is on the hot side. I would have tried the Flan for dessert but was too full from the meal. Service was fast and friendly. Despite the brightly painted walls and interesting things hanging on them, the room was a little dark. They do have Wi-Fi available. There were spots available in the parking lot adjacent to the reataurant.

I’ve eaten here at Piramides and I’ve also ordered to-go as well. Ive recommended my friends and family as well because I’ve never had a problem with the food it’s always amazing . Today Piramides gets one star from me because of their Customer Service. I ordered from Piramides today and when I opened my food there was a hair inside. I brought my food back to let them know and the lady working the front was so rude that couldn’t even believe what was happening…. She kept blaming me that is was my hair and on top of that she pulled the hair out of the container with her bare fingers and expected me to want it back …. She wasn’t even wearing gloves or a hair net. I asked her if she could just remake it because it’s gross to find hair in food obviously. I even ordered something else. I thought we left on okay terms - I even tipped her because I appreciated her re-making it. I thought it was all over but when I sent my employee to get the food she yelled at her and blamed her for the whole thing and followed her outside still yelling. I think this is so unacceptable. I asked for the manager and she stated that she’s “the only woman who works there and she doesn’t have time for this” Being a business owner I am completely appalled. Whoever this woman is will ruin the reputation and the reason people go to eat at Piramides. No one wants to be unhappy where the spend money. Love...

Avoid this hole at all costs. I've never been served garbage and expected to pay for an entire uneaten meal before. The tacos El carbon was Grade F meat swimming in a small pool of literal fat grease. Not a little, there was so much grease that when I bit into the soft taco it ran out and poured all over my fingers and hand. Inedible! The meat tasted more like liver than beef steak, and the amount of onions was baffling. The corn flour tortillas were almost see through because of the grease. The green chile tasted like it came out of a can. The relleno was super tiny and the cheese wasn't melted inside. And we didn't complain to start, only when the waitress asked if everything was okay after seeing we didn't eat our food, did I mention how greasy it was. We had other patrons next to us so I wanted to be quiet about it, no need to be obnoxious or anything. She had a lady come over, she apologized and offered to make us "non-greasy food", which was weird. We politely declined, thinking at least take one item of the bill. But then came then bill and nothing was taken off. At least take off the liver and onion tacos disguised as el carbon! Last but not least, 11 bucks for a house margarita that was served with barely any tequila, not even a jigger full for a large margarita was just insulting. Don't waste your hard...

We've been coming here for several years, and it had always been a favorite when we're in the area. Today's visit has cast a pall, however. There is a shrimp section of the menu, which is clearly headed that all shrimp dishes come with rice and beans. Rice and beans don't automatically come with the combos, though, so my husband ordered the #19 (which doesn't include the rice and beans) and we ordered the quesadilla camerones as an appetizer, so he could have the rice and beans which were specified to come with all shrimp dishes (the quesadilla was not listed as an appetizer.)

All combos used to include rice and beans; now, unless the menu states otherwise (as it did for shrimp dishes) there is now a $3.95 charge to include them (sour cream and guacamole are $4.25.)

Increased food costs are definitely a thing, but nickel-and-diming over rice and beans isn't a good look.

Edit: my tamale had a piece of hard (masa, hopefully?) that was over 2" long and hard as a literal rock. It scraped the roof of my mouth.

I think this was...
