Sarku Japan — Restaurant in Aurora

I've always loved this place at the Aurora Mall in Colorado. The food has always been great, the service has always been great, but the last time I went wasn't great at all. I talked to my dad and my mom into ordering dinner from there. We ordered two orders of the shrimp tempura (3 pieces each) four orders of spring rolls, one chicken teriyaki combo with fried rice, extra chicken and vegetables. An order of lo mein/soba noodles with teriyaki chicken and another order of just the lo mein/soba noodles . We ended up receiving five orders of shrimp tempura (that we're extremely greasy), two orders of the spring rolls, got charged for a kid's meal that we did not order, and we did not receive the extra teriyaki chicken on the combo. But we were charged for it. My dad paid almost $52 for this. And it should have not been anywhere around that price. I reached out to the company 5 days ago and I've had yet to hear from them. Absolutely disgusting customer service and food...

This is in the food court at aurora mall. I got the chicken teryaki and it was not very impressive. If you are looking for a meal that's HEAVY on rice, then this is the place. The veggies on the dish were overcooked to being mushy and the chicken was kinda burned on one side. They don't season the meat while cooking it so they have to rely on a thick teryaki 'syrup' to give it any 'asian' flavor. I ordered (and paid for) extra chicken on mine but it only got the same amount as all the others in my party who didn't order more. The soy sauce packets are that brand with the panda on the packet, just colored water really. You may have a couple of boxes and drinks to cary back to a table as well but they don't...

First time going to this restaurant. It was between this one and another Asian restaurant with a shorter line. We chose this one because the line was ridiculously long, so we figured it must be good. I ordered the steak with lo mien and my daughter ordered the chicken with rice. I thought the flavor was delicious, good temperature and fresh. My daughter didn’t think it was anything special, but her chicken tasted good to me. :) The service is good, considering the employees didn’t get a break and handled the rush calmly.
