Went through the drive through this AM - Ordered a Carmel Brulee latte with no whip. Coffee was given to me with no receipt. I went directly to my office, discovered there was no flavoring, the coffee was literally JUST a latte. I called in and advised what had happened and asked if I could just come through tomorrow morning and pick up a replacement coffee. Person on the phone, asked me to save the coffee and bring it in to the shop tomorrow for a replacement coffee. I asked to speak to the manager. She advised she was the manager. I asked her, just so I was clear, "Ok. So, you would like for me to go without my coffee today, take the coffee home, save it all night, bring it in to you tomorrow morning, so I can have a replacement coffee tomorrow?" Much to my surprise, she said yes. She went on to explain, "Not that I am thinking you are lying or anything, but we have had a lot of incidents where people are claiming to have the wrong coffee and asking for free coffees." I asked her if I could just call the corporate office to have them refund the drink on the gift card that I used to purchase the drink because I had no intention of carting the coffee around with me until tomorrow morning. She said I could do that. OR... I could come in to the shop tomorrow morning with the receipt and we could just have it replaced then. I told her I was not given a receipt at the window, I was just handed my coffee. So, she asked what time I was here today, and if I wanted to I could come in tomorrow morning, we could look for the receipt together and IF it was able to be found, she would replace the coffee. Read moreKnocked down from 4 stars. Wife and I went for a walk today (you know, per the governor's recommendation) and decided to order Starbucks while we were out. We used the app and placed a takeout order for two coffees. When we got there, the lobby was closed. No big deal, we walked up to the drive through and showed them our order. After having paid for the items through the app, the cashier, in a panic, informs us he can't serve us. After some choice words he gets his shift manager to come address us, who then tells us we have to be in a car to order Starbucks. Granted, we are fortunate to have a vehicle and only were without it because we wanted to get some sunshine and fresh air, but what if we didn't? Would Starbucks on a future order have kept our money and expected us to leave? With the current social distancing measures in places these guys weren't even willing to look at the payment confirmation presented on my phone. I have nothing good to say about this- your store is setting up to presumably steal a lot of money from people who have none as we move into the warmer months. Re evaluate how you handle customers, and consider not allowing takeout orders through your app. Had we been unable to get our order, Starbucks would have been Liable for allowing us to place and purchase through the takeout option. Not impressed.
And I guess the coffee was fine, but it will be the last we order here.

Read more2nd Update:I always ask for a small cup of caramel crunch BECAUSE 9x outta 10 I don't get anything other than a stingy sprinkle on top. That was the case today. Didn't recognize anyone working there & including a picture of the "extra" sprinkle 🙄. I've even said upcharge me... They could fix this issue if they either offered to sell containers of their different toppings or had any upcharge availability. You KNOW they pay next to nothing for them, So it would just be one more way they can make more money... I'm going to leave it at five Stars anyway. I had ordered with her only once and she remembered the specificity of my drink on the second time I went there! I always get the same exact thing and I'm always happy to see her face & to know that she's making my drink!
