I passed the sign to this place every day leaving my house and notice that it was a brand new place. So I decided to stop in and check it out because it's right down the street from my house. Let me say this, I am not a beer drinker, yes I understand I'm in a brewery, but it's still a bar. And to my delight they do sell alcoholic drinks. Let me start out by saying that the owners and the staff are very welcoming into their establishment. They have TV's all around and music in the background. My first time there the owners made their rounds and greeted everyone and made sure everyone was good and if you needed anything. The brewery is loaded with many different kinds of beers. Like I said I don't hardly drink beer but I seen and heard them list their many selections. Matt makes a different tasting beer for sale just about every day. The barbecue they serve is tender and very delicious. The wings are crispy and the sides are delicious as well. They also added trivia to their weekly lineup. With more daily activities to come. If you looking for a great bar with a great atmosphere with fun people and great friendly staff and owners, the A Bit Twisted Brewpub is your place to be. You won't be disappointed.

Went here tonight to grab a few crowlers. 3 things…1. I walked in to the smokiest bbq place I’ve ever been in. My throat started getting scratchy, it was so smoky in there. 2. Slow service! One lady working while two or three of the owners were sitting at the table in the middle of the restaurant, clueless to helping her out when she clearly needed it. 3. I was only there to get 4 crowlers to go. When I got home, the only markings to differentiate the beers was on the bottom of the can, with a paint marker that got rubbed off when we wiped off the dripping wet cans. I love beer, I’m a TX BBQ fiend, I live one block from this place and I really wanted this to be my new spot. Please get some ventilation in there, please serve me 4 to-go crowlers faster than 26 minutes, and please put a label on the beer so I know which $6 beer I’m drinking-( maybe even a permanent marker.) Update- 2 minutes after I posted this, I now see one of the 2 crowlers I planned saving if leaking out of the seal. This place is 0-4, now.

I truly wish I could give this place a 10 star review! Wait staff was friendly and amazing- very attentive to our larger party. We came in with two adults and 4 kids, we were seated and greeted with a smile right away! Anything we needed or asked for -either she was already on it before we asked- or provided quickly and with a smile. AND THE FOOD… was next level- the best damn BBQ I have had in a very long time! The atmosphere was comfortable and we felt very at home and able to relax after work! The beers were ice cold and we tried several of their house brews, each one just as good as the next. I highly recommend this place! If you’re thinking food- this place is THE PLACE. We didn’t get anything but this photo -last minute -cause it smelled so good we didn’t think to even touch our phones before enjoying. 🤘🏼 We are in the area for work, but this will be a place I will definitely revisit for years to come! Ya’ll are amazing. Keep up the good work!

Date Night

My husband and me live in Colorado Springs and had our date at, “A Bit Twisted Brewpub Bar & BBQ.“

The moment we walked in, it felt like we were welcomed into a cozy gathering rather than a typical dining experience.

The Owners Matt and Mike always have great energy, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a long week. Every visit feels like a mini celebration, whether it’s a casual dinner or a special occasion with their contagious smiles and service. It gives you the vibes of “Cheers,” where everyone knows your name. It truly felt like we were part of a big family rather than just patrons. As we settled into our seats, the atmosphere buzzed with laughter and the clinking of glasses, creating a lively backdrop for our evening.

The food was nothing short of amazing. Matt's ribs were tender and flavorful, perfectly complemented by the Cajun fries.

Rosie's taco’s with homemade slaw added a delightful crunch. The Banana pudding was the perfect sweet ending to our meal, rich and creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Each bite felt like a warm embrace, echoing the genuine hospitality that enveloped us.

Denesha kept our drinks flowing and made sure we were well taken care of, sharing stories and jokes that added to the fun. It was clear that everyone in the pub not only worked together but genuinely cared about their customers and each other.

As the night went on, we found ourselves chatting with other guests, swapping stories and laughter, feeling completely at home. The combination of delicious food, welcoming service, and a vibrant atmosphere made our date unforgettable.

We left with full hearts and stomachs, already planning our next visit to A Bit Twisted, where we felt like part of the...

This place may well be a hidden gem. In terms of beer (my primary endeavor when exploring a place like this) they had a good selection and it definitely did provide that homebrewed feel. All of this being said not every beer Ive had here is a hit to me, but they do provide a specific profile which others might enjoy.

In contrast there are many beers which I do enjoy here and it just might take some experimentation to find what tickles your fancy! When it comes tofood I feel this place has an odd and almost legendary status. It's really a Smoke pit/bbq place and does an incredible job fulfilling that role.

Coming from someone from small town PNW this place did give me a back home vibe with slightly different service style. It is fun, casual, and community oriented without being pretentious. That being said it wasn't the Midwestern or rural PNW service I was too accustomed too.

All things considered I was surprised to see this place quiet in a Sunday late afternoon but it was amazing to see the family vibe they had at that time. I have been here once prior on a Wednesday evening and it was bustling so I know they have a demand whether it be delicious bbq or full bar with craft beers.

I will certainly be checking back on a regular basis for the delicious food, variety of drinks, and hometown...

I’m not one to leave negative reviews unless it’s truly deserved. I’m not sure who the people are who say the food here is “amazing” and how this place has supposedly won awards for their food. The only good thing about my experience here was the beer I ordered. That was delicious. The food - not so much. Zero flavor to the barbecue sauce, microwaved baked beans, potato salad had literally zero flavor, and the bbq platter comes with such a small portion of meat it’s like 3 slices of meat. The meat was also dry and had zero flavor. I’m a picky eater and don’t usually like things with “too much” flavor, but this food and supposed barbecue had ZERO. I’ve never experienced bbq in my life that has literally no flavor whatsoever except at this place.

There were people playing poker at a poker table that the bar hosts, and it seemed very cliquey with regulars (in a bad way). My boyfriend and I spent around $70 here and we were both extremely disappointed and we will never return or recommend this place to anyone. We also both had upset stomachs later that night that we didn’t have before eating here.

Bottom line - if you want a decent tasty beer selection, go here. If you want edible food, run away...
