I remember my first coffee. I was 4 years old, and my mom ordered some sort of latte. Boy was it delicious. I swiped it off her when she wasn’t looking, and drank the whole thing down while watching my favorite show, Winnie the Pooh. The episode where rabbit and Pooh start running honey illegally across the hundred acre woods. Everyone was lit, including owl. Come to think of it I’m not sure it was really just coffee I was drinking. Nevertheless, it was sure delicious. Now that Bonnie’s coffee shop is permanently closed, it’s time to find another go to coffee joint. Bonnie was a such a gem. We’ll miss her. Now it’s time to try white rabbit. I really do love the name, reminds me of my favorite character from the previously mentioned show. I believe rabbit won an Oscar for that performance. Can’t wait to try the coffee. Lovely bakery! Clean, friendly staff, amazing food. Limited seating, one bathroom. We got the Veggie Breakfast Sandwich and the Oatmeal Chocolate Scone to eat in. Both were fantastic. The veggie sandwich came on a perfectly fluffy, yet crispy biscuit-like bun. Despite the smaller size, the sandwich made a filling breakfast. For me, the salt was too concentrated, but I eat a lower sodium diet than most people in the States. The oatmeal scone balanced the sweetness well. Although chocolate exists within, it's not overpowering. The scone wasn't too dry either. I also bought some granola to go (almond coconut I believe), and that gets a standing ovation. This is a very cute little gluten free bakery. I had a cinnamon roll that was huge. For those of you who are not gluten-free the texture of this gluten free cinnamon roll is slightly flatter than a yeast based roll but it was delicious. My sister, who is gluten-free, called ahead and ordered a half dozen of these cinnamon rolls to take with her to visit my gluten-free mom so that they would have a treat together. The staff was fantastic enough to call her and assure her that they had saved these for her and to make sure she was still coming to get them.
