I have been to this location numerous times. With mostly good experiences but the last 2 times I’ve gone have left such a bad taste in my mouth that I don’t think I will be going back. The first bad experience I gave them the benefit of the doubt, it’s peak hours (7am) and they need more staff. Not their fault. But today I went to pick up my online order that I had placed early to make my life easier as well as the stores. My order was suppose to be ready at 6:58 am, I get to the walk up window at 7am and they said that their system was acting up but they would get working on my order and it would be out shortly. That’s fine, I get technology fails us from time to time. I was told my order was almost ready 3 separate times. I ordered a black coffee and a kids drink. After 3 people came up to the window, placed their order and got their drinks before me as well as another person that placed an online order and got hers in 2 minutes I was starting to get frustrated. It was now 7:23 and I was going to be late to work. I told them my situation and they apologized and blamed it on their system again. That is a cop out, you should prioritize orders that you know the customer has been waiting over orders that just came in. I had now been waiting almost half an hour for a black coffee and a small drink and they didn’t even offer me anything. I am a very patient person, I worked in food service and I understand but this was completely unacceptable. I do not like giving negative reviews but if you want your coffee in a timely manner you either need to give yourself an extra half hour or go...
Read moreWe had been coming here regularly for a few months. The coffee seemed better than Starbucks, and they would give you a coffee bean with your hot coffee. One caramel macchiato or turtle mocha I had a while back tasted, off. By off I mean, like it had chemicals in it and it left and aftertaste. I just figured it was something with the water they used, but thought it was just a one time fluke. However, a few weeks ago, the same thing happened to a hot caramel macchiato I mobile ordered. This time the taste lingered in my mouth and I couldn’t even finish the 12oz coffee. Even though I had enjoyed other drinks there, this has stopped me from going back, or wanting to go as frequently as I had been. I do like the mocha bread, but that and the soda (if I can trust that), would only be what I would attempt. A couple times, items I ordered were not given. I understand it can happen, but I’ve had to come back, when I wasn’t planning to go back that way for a while. I also don’t find the same friendly, quality service as before the app. Before, when I ordered we got coffee beans and pretty quick and mostly friendly service. It’s nice to go somewhere often when you are recognized and not just a number, until I guess they get too busy to notice....
Read moreStarbucks lost my business a long time ago so I try to find local coffee spots to support whenever I can. I was in the area for five days so this was my go to location for my cup of love each day. The blended white chocolate peanut butter concoction is like heaven in a 16oz cup. (Think white chocolate Reeces) I switched it up to the dark chocolate version and sweet baby geezus… GAME CHANGER. I tried several different items over the course of my stay and everything tasted fantastic! Service was great (especially the young gal with long red hair and cute nails) until the last day when the barista was engaged in conversation with her coworkers. Normally I’m not bothered by this but instead of swiping my card, handing me the iPad and giving my card back, she was distracted and I was annoyed and after handing us our items, she said have a good day and I left without my card. I just started my 4 hour trek home and realized the error. When I returned I got what felt like a forced I’m sorry about that, my debit card and a punch card with no extra punch for my troubles. I think that part could have improved upon since I explained the inconvenience. Maybe an extra shot of Baileys for next time?...
