here's what you should know before coming here
no restrooms Go keep that in mind but for somehow they have play cornrow games right outside the front for kids so you can throw cornrows while you're waiting
so this is the super fancy expensive but open really late 7 days a week kind of custard they keep in mind it melts fast
is usually best to park and then walk on over you'll get your order faster then going through
also if it's your thing to have a very special kind of root beer you can't really find anywhere else
The customer service here is thankfully very well staffed to usually have as many as six or more people at any point of time especially in the evenings when they get the most business especially after 9:00 p.m. on a Sunday night is when they seem to be the most packed
friendly staff that was very hospitable friendly willing to take a moment to answer my questions to my satisfaction and the app was easy to work with or disabled to look it up with my phone number registered to the account unlike other locations who are hardball and one see the app on your phone
I would definitely say in my experience I don't come here very often cuz it's very expensive and I'm not a fan of how quick the ice cream melts but from time to time especially when they have this new gooey cake ice cream I can definitely say it's one of the better options you will find a late night for your sweet tooth
If you come here for and spend the money as that late night special combo for me I had a free ice cream coupon and the rewards so it's worth signing up for the rewards and I got a cone but two scoops of chocolate which was absolutely delicious but keep in mind I had to eat it fast cuz it melts quick and all over my head That's a made sure to eat this outside of my vehicle rather than they make a mess inside
I do a lot of combinations with their frozen custard fresh made from their machine combo with Oreo products pecans strawberries waffle cones chocolate chip cookie dough and or a combination of even peanuts cheesecake ooey gooey mix pretzels Butterfingers m&M's beef bars Reese's pieces marshmallows espresso creme brulee and their new Google GUI butter cake which looks ridiculous
let me rephrase that they also have a hat trick jackhammer which is based on Texas hockey team and you just marshmallows and Oreo and green candy
they're late night open till 11:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. most days even some days till midnight here
it is also order ice cream to go by the court just keep in mind the darn...
Read moreNever coming here again!!!! So I went to this location at 9:07pm. There were four people waiting to receive their order and nobody on drive thru and they had seven people working, so a pretty good staff for a Sunday night. I was going to order 15 items which was going to come out to be $96.50. Three of my family members and I got out of the car instead of going through drive thru so that we wouldn’t hold up any potential customers that would be behind us. I finished placing my order and the cashier gave me the total. I was about to pay and another employee came up to the window saying that they were not going to do my order because it was a big order and that I had to place an order that big over the phone, 1 hour before picking up, so that they could have it ready. I told the employee that there is no sign posted outside supporting his comment and he replied that it was just common courtesy. (So he never pointed to a specific sign or place on the website where it states this "policy") I have worked in the food industry for 16 years and have been a general manager for 6 years and I have never heard that before unless it was a catering company. I would completely understand if they couldn't fulfill my order because they were extremely busy, understaffed, or if I had gotten there near closing time, but they close at 11pm and I was there at 9. They had this attitude like they just did not want to work. Also, I checked their website and I have yet to find the policy that this employee mentioned. Which means they lost money over laziness and they lost...
Read moreEDIT: I'm updating my review from 3-stars to 5-stars after the owner reached out to me personally by phone to discuss my review. He asked if we would be willing to try Andy's again, which I said yes to, and the next day, we were able to receive four complimentary items. We tried the pumpkin pie one he recommended with caramel and pecans and it was amazing! Honestly, just the fact that a franchise owner cared enough about their service to reach out personally is enough to warrant a 5-star review.
We've never been to this location before so we thought to check it out after school. I'm not that fond of the ordering process to be honest. You get to look at the menu and then have to remember your orders until you get to the front. It's definitely not ideal for big families or big orders. I was, however, impressed at the employee who remembered our order and didn't have to write it down in between. They were making it as we ordered, which was also nice, but sadly, it came out semi-melted already.
That was kind of a bummer because I couldn't fully enjoy it like I wanted to, but the taste was great nonetheless and it made the kids happy. I'm not sure I would visit again honestly, but it was nice to at least have it as an...
