Atlas sandwich is worth the hype, bringing amazing sandwiches (with a side of dad joke) to a lacking scene in Austin I LOVE hot saganaki/halloumi and start shvitzing at the sound. Then add honey AND lamb, served sandwiched between two pitas and you've got yourself one hell of a drug called the Greek Freak. I will be back to try the one with just the saganaki and honey ASAP. The other sandwich I had was the Corleone, a more traditional cold cut style, a little bready for me but delicious and was good balance to the pita. I enjoyed the spicy whipped feta and added it to this. The team in the truck were friendly and excited I complimented their dog treat menu add. Excellent belly rub joke. The sandwiches were made quickly and came out perfectly temperatured. The truck sits in a small food park on Cesar Chavez with plenty of outdoor picnic tables and a shade / rain covering.

Tried the Atlas sandwich and lemon potatoes. Have to say that Joey did a great job on achieving the original greek slow cooked lamb flavor. It’s definitely a must for me.

I got the Atlas and the Spartan, both lamb! And Saganaki cheese on the side. Absolutely delicious and staff is very friendly! Great experience overall.

If you find yourself in Austin and on the hunt for a sandwich that'll satisfy, look no further than Atlas Sandwich Company. Let me tell you, their namesake, "The Atlas" sandwich is an absolute game-changer! Imagine this: slow-cooked lamb, delicately seasoned and bursting with flavor, nestled alongside smashed lemon potato, ripe tomato, crisp red onion, and a generous dollop of tangy tzatziki sauce, all wrapped in a perfectly grilled pita. Each bite is a symphony of taste sensations, with the tender lamb, zesty potato, juicy tomato, crunchy onion, and creamy tzatziki coming together in perfect harmony to delight your palate.

The lamb? Impeccably seasoned and cooked to perfection, it practically melts in your mouth. And those pitas? Grilled to golden-brown perfection, providing just the right amount of crunch to complement the tender lamb. But what truly sets "The Atlas" apart are the flavors. Each ingredient harmonizes seamlessly, creating a symphony of taste that leaves you craving more.

Trust me when I say that Atlas Sandwich Company is a must-try for sandwich aficionados in Austin. Their dedication to quality ingredients and expert craftsmanship shines through in every bite. But you don't have to take my word for it (cue "Reading Rainbow" flashbacks); experience the magic of "The Atlas" for yourself and...

Atlas Sandwhich Co truly has a fantastic menu. I had the signature Atlas Sandwich - handheld pita with a generous serving of lamb and a thick, flavorful tzatziki that adds a firmness to the wrap, paired with a well-balanced herb and seasoning that creates tremendous flavor. This is the Perfect handheld Greek sandwich!!

Oh, and for your side, choose the Lemon Greek Potatoes…your Yia-Yia will thank you. 🇬🇷🇬🇷

My wife had the Aphrodite (direct quote from my wife “queen recognize queen” 👸🏻)

The Aphrodite is slow-cooked lamb with veg, and the PERFECT amount of honey that really adds depth to the flavor of this pita sandwich.

Now - I’m not a sweet guy, but even with the rich honey, it felt like a healthier bite compared to my Atlas, which felt more savory, but you really can’t go wrong with either.

Long story short - Atlas Sandwich Co is a must visit for any Greek or Greek-food lover in Austin! I am looking forward to our next...
